Literature: White
White is the third book in The Circle Series by Ted Dekker. It takes place in the same universe and The Lost Books, The Paradise Novels, Skin, and House.

Thomas Hunter suffers a head injury and wakes up in an alternate reality(that has two forests- one brightly colored with healing fruit and cute white bats called Roush, and another, seperated from the colored woods by a river, that is creepy and houses evil black bats called Shataiki) every time he goes to sleep. He realizes that a deadly virus, the Raison Strain, is about to be released in "our world", and that the forest is also in danger. The virus is released, causing massive casualties, and the tranquil forest in the "other world" is ravaged by evil ( and called The Black Forest.)
