Literature: Soft Desire

Soft Desire is a series of short stories and a graphic novel by Isaac Baranoff, originally published by Horndog Studios, originally based on an unfilmed screenplay.

The graphic novel involves an Underground Comics artist named Charlie who becomes intwined in a mystery involving a Femme Fatale, her lesbian roommate/lover and a MacGuffin box (a reference to Mulholland Dr., but looks like the box from Hellraiser).

It's essentially a Psychological Thriller in the vein of David Lynch's Lost Highway, with touches of Frank Miller-style Neo-Noir. Expect a huge Mind Screw.

The short stories can be read here. The comics are out of print and apparently there are no plans on reissuing them ever.
