After his defeat, however, he turns to the good side and becomes TheStoic instead. The much later villain Seaman is another character who has incredibly hammy while a villain but pretty normal afterwards. ** Jeremiah "Orange" Gottwald starts off the series looking pretty slick and arrogant, but after nearly getting killed, and turned into a cyborg, he seems to suffer from brain damage getting hammier with each passing appearance, up until the very end of the series. He takes it up so seriously that he even screams when giving encouragement in otherwise quiet scenes. His rival and childhood friend Yuno is a quiet person but has been implied to admire Asta's impulsive behavior.

* ''Anime/ZombielandSaga'' has the girl's manager, Kotaro Tatsumi. Just during his morning meetings with the girls he's done things like pantomime ancient dance, dressed as a batter and make a dead shot for Saki's face (don't worry, she's zombie!), and pretend to blow through a giant conch shell.

** It's hard to tell whether the seiyuu or the voice actors were having more fun, but let's face it -- even if he wasn't into ''Ouran'' by the time it was licensed, Tamaki's BerserkButton animation and personality kinda pinpointed [[Creator/VicMignogna who would eventually play him]].
