The ending to "The Witch of Pickyoon" - The Witch of Pickyoon, a tyrannical sorceress who's enslaved an entire town, places Sweet Polly under a spell that will make her sleep for a thousand years unless the witch breaks it, and forces Underdog to do her bidding in return for breaking the spell. Underdog soon accepts that he can't make everyone else suffer just to save Polly, and rebels against the witch (accidentally killing her in the process by destroying her magic broom), and saves the people she'd oppressed, but at the cost of Polly. Accepting that he'll never see her again, she gives her a final kiss... which was the cure all along. Sure, it's refered to as the "Hero's Kiss" by the witch, but it's clearly not what its supposed to be.
Underdog: I'll find some way to save you, my pledge is this. And I'll seal my vow with one final kiss... *kisses Polly*
Polly: *wakes up* ...Underdog!
The townspeople vowing to watch over Polly for a thousand years. Thankfully, it turns out to not be necessary.
Man: You saved us, Underdog, so we'll watch over Sweet Polly. We will, and our grandchildren will, and so on, until she wakes up a thousand years from now...
