Heartwarming / Transformers: Super-God Masterforce

Go To

  • In retrospect, the fact that the majority of the featured Decepticons would eventually turn against their former master proved that not all the bad guys are irredeemable. Transformers: Masterforce was actually the first Transformers series to attempt to "humanize" the Decepticons by giving them some level of depth and character development.
    • This was especially evident in Cancer whose internal conflict regarding his loyalty to the Decepticons was featured early in the series. He saved Minerva once in return for the kindness she had shown him when he was captured. This internal conflict flares up strongly again when he was rescued by the Autobots. When he questioned why would they do that, they pointed out that the fact he would help save his own hometown proved he wasn't irredeemable.
    • The disgruntled Wilder and Bullhorn deserted both the Decepticons who left them for the dead and the Autobots who rescued them. However, they eventually returned to aid Cancer and the Autobot Headmaster Juniors against the overwhelming Decepticon forces.
    • Clouder and the Decepticon Headmaster Juniors were depowered towards the end of the series (Their robotic halves gaining sentience and retaining loyalty to Devil Z). Despite this turn of events, they were seen helping out in the rescue efforts even when they had no need to.
