Heartwarming / The Mindy Project

• Mindy cutting off her hair and going to Haiti with Casey.
• Morgan taking Mindy to the quarry to finally express her grief over her breakup with Casey.
• Danny and Mindy (attempting) to stick up for each other in front of hecklers during Wiener Night.
• In spite of his general bro-attitude, Peter has stayed firmly on Mindy's side in the Danny/Mindy debacle, and he makes it clear he cares very much about her as a friend. It's very sweet.
  • Especially notable is that Peter is the person that ultimately opens Mindy's eyes to how destructive her relationship with Danny had become by pointing out that she'd been the one making all the compromises and sacrifices. Despite not working at the practice anymore, he paid enough attention and cared enough about Mindy to notice, discuss it with Lauren, and finally talk about it with Mindy.
• Mindy, after telling Danny that Annette has been shoplifting and dealing with grief from both of them, sneaking Annette out of the store when it looks like the woman would be arrested. Mindy points out to the by the book Danny that family comes first.
• Anytime Annette sticks up for Mindy (telling Danny not to string her along or when Mindy slapped Little Danny for being bratty).
• Annette and Rishis' reactions to Mindy being pregnant
• Mindy saying to Morgan's bitchy, hoarder girlfriend that he's strong and beautiful despite not seeing it due to his weight gain. Just before she realizes it describes her at the time.
  • Danny telling Mindy how beautiful she is towards the end.
  • Tamra enlisting her cousin so they can help Mindy get her mojo back, really nice to see her move past the animosity she had with Mindy.
• Annette and Dannys' talk when he feels gun shy about the idea of starting a family with Mindy, they make it clear they did their best in their failed marriages and just married people "who didn't deserve it". What's even nice is that Annette implied that Mindy deserves marriage with Danny.
  • Danny's impromptu flight to India where he faces Mindy's parents and declares his name and that he's in love with their daughter.
  • Mindy and Peters' talk with one another, even though the situation was tense, it was nice to see that they have a really close relationship and can confide in one another beyond a professional level.
  • Peter's first pick for Best Man: Mindy. And when her pre-eclampsia prevents her from doing anything intense in movement or from flying to his Texan wedding, he ends up doing his Best Man and Groom dance with Jeremy, who spent the season, being despondent and betrayed that Peter took his girlfriend.
