  • The ending of the game is very much a heartwarming moment. It consists of you reading the message that your Messenger was trying to send you, and tells the story of the game you just played in the form of an interactive pop-up book. However, it is told from the perspective of the Messenger, thus allowing the player to discover how they were feeling; fear and distrust at the beginning, until learning to trust the player to get them through. Extra d'awws are added by adding notes based on statistics like "I took 60,000 steps to get to you!" or "I only lost my stamp 89 times!". Then it pulls in to our world (via the Vita's rear camera), with the narrator saying that the you have explored their world, and now they want to do the same. So they give you the papercraft plans to make the main character! Certainly a contender for most meaningful/adorable ending ever.
