  • Robert and Gail revisit the episode in a 2020 Clip Show episode. Robert sheds Manly Tears as he and Gail fondly reminisce on their special day.
• Many family-run businesses put an incredible toll on the family, especially when the father/mother/grandparent in charge refuses to listen to any of their employees, including blood relatives. Occasionally, Robert is able to break through their difficulties (with his usual subtlety) and finally talk things through; this inevitably ends in tears of both regret AND joy, and a gigantic hug.
• The fundraiser Robert organized for a young chef from a previous episode, who was nearly killed in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident, so that she and her restaurant weren’t overwhelmed by medical bills. Doubles as a CMOA for the fact that he and his crew got the whole thing up and running in less than 24 hours.
• Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Robert took a dozen crewmembers (all volunteering) on a special trip to help past establishments cope with the huge changes brought by the pandemic.
