Heartwarming / DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story

• Peter Lafleur, for all his shortcomings throughout the movie, maintains a very kind message of body positivity to members of his gym and has no problem letting them lapse on their membership payments.
• Owen and Fran, full-stop. Despite her Gonk looks, it's Love at First Sight for him, and they hook up the night before the Joes-Cobras match.
• The Intergenerational Friendship between Kate and Justin. She clearly tells him not to worry about Derek, and before their match against the Lumberjacks, they do a little fist-bump. She's clearly rooting for him and Amber.
• The BDSM people, after confronting the Joes about the accidental uniform swap, stick around to watch the tournament, and even celebrate with the Joes at the end. Proof that mistakes can lead to friendship.
• The way Peter addresses Steve the Pirate at the end, he clearly knows he fucked up with him. The look on Steve's face is of complete and utter happiness.
• One of the sayings hung up around Lafleur's gym is "Failure is an option. It lets us learn from past mistakes."
