- In the first game, de Blob is about to take back the last piece of Chroma City from Comrade Black. This is one of the few levels in the game that starts off in an area that's already colored, and if you look back from where de Blob starts, you can see hundreds or perhaps thousands of Raydians on a boat behind you. They're cheering you on.
- A similar moment happens in the sequel, where the residents of Prisma City finally rise up against Comrade Black and congregate en mass towards the Rocket Range, the last area under INKT control. Unfortunately, the last bridge to the area is soon destroyed, but Blob finds a way to make it across with Pinky anyways.
- The final cutscene of the sequel has a moment at the very end where Blob's teammates are grieving over Blob, believing he was killed in the cosmic explosion during the climax (even though he was rescued by Pinky). When Blob returns and sees them in despair, he joins along in their grieving. They eventually notice that he's still alive, are happy again, and they all share a friendship hug.
