• Elvis wears a small leather bag around his neck as they're about to fight the mummy, explaining to JFK that Native Americans would carry similar bags full of good luck charms with them into battle. The contents of Elvis's bag: his late roommate's Purple Heart, the Lone Ranger's mask, and a picture of his daughter.
• Kemosabe's last stand. He may be a frail and senile old man in his underwear but he still manages to go out fighting for what's right, and die with an unlikely dignity - with his boots on (literally) and his soul intact.
