- What exactly stops Jess from jumping overboard and try to reach the floating yacht? That goes without mentioning the obvious - her meeting the crew right away when realizing things are doubled.

- How do the events of the movie even happen in the first place? There needs to be at least two of Jess at any given time for the loop to even exist.
- Moreover, it seems that the loop had already started by the time they even got to the ship (remember that distress call they receive just before the storm? "They're all dead!"). But then, it's actually a common problem of the time loop plots...
- And this "rogue" loop might have something to do with the "Mean Jess" problem. Maybe there are actually two loop cycles which share setting, characters and basic plot, but are otherwise different from one another?
