• Why exactly did Salem eat Chester the mouse? Did he do that out of jealousy, because of cat instinct, or just to be a jerk and prove a point to Sabrina? It’s not made clear.
  • I assumed it was just because Salem is kind of a hedonist. He does what he wants. He sees a mouse, which he, in his cat form, can eat, and he wants to eat it. Cat instincts are probably part of it too. He probably wouldn't have eaten a live mouse back when he was a human (hopefully).
• Do newborn babies have broken hearts?
  • Probably something minor to the rest of us, like Harvey or Gem's dilemmas (or anyone who's been alive for more than just a few hours). Such as a bottle of milk going empty when the kid was still hungry.
    • Which means the answer to Sabrina's task is: Any baby younger than a few hours
• Why is Harvey so stupid? He doesn't even realize the chick he hangs out with is a witch?
  • Harvey usually doesn't actually see Sabrina use her magic when something weird takes place. If something like being on a pirate ship or being in a spy movie happened to you suddenly, would you automatically think, "Oh my god, my friend's a witch!" or "Huh, must be dreaming," like Harvey normally assumes?
  • Also in "La Femme Sabrina", it shows Harvey having an elaborate Pound Sterling themed dream at the start of the episode. And when the spell starts, he immediately assumes he's having another similar dream before Sabrina even has to explain anything.
• Okay this is kind of a weird question but why did they feel the need to derail Sabrina so much in secret life? She went from the sweetest girl on earth to...well a jerk. It's just...Why?
  • The show seems to have become more 'educational' than the previous version. So in this, it's usually to set up Sabrina learning An Aesop. While she does do some horrible things, she usually does see the error of her ways. Notably when she realises that she was wrong about Harvey and Maritza, she tries to stop Cassandra from tormenting her further. But yeah, the writing for the show just went downhill in general.
• Any Germans on here. Can you expalin why Secret Life is considered Season 2 of AS in the German dub, when it's not the same series at all?
