Jiyu's Stubbornness About Getting Rid of the Eyepatch
- Jiyu spends the majority of the early episodes steadfastly trying to avoid becoming Jubei, even going so far as to throw away the Lovely Eye-Patch as often and as quickly as possible. She continues to do this even AFTER its become fairly clear there are people trying to kill her and the only chance she has to defend herself is to use the Eyepatch.
- Even worse, she continues to do this after some of her classmates almost get hurt, just because they were near her when she was attacked. The fact that neither defending herself OR defending others spurs her to even seriously CONSIDER carrying it around as a simple precaution is mind boggling.
