- Chapter 14: Wally discovers he's out of cheese and corned beef, largely because he's a Big Eater. His response?
Wally: Okay, Wally, that's it…from now on, you're eating three meals a day, only!
- Chapter 15: The Central City Police Department has received new armor from the Villain with Good Publicity; Detectives Chyre and Morillo are among the few cops who aren't sporting the new look. When Wally asks them why, he gets this response:
Morillo: Well, the other cops were so busy hogging over them back at the station, we just decided to let them do their own in-fighting about it.
Chyre: Yeah, right; that's not what I saw happen, Morillo. You tried one on and then refused to get back into it just because it was squeezing your—
Morillo: LA-LA-LA-LA-LA, I'M NOT LISTENING TO YOU!
