• The Narrator's Wide-Eyed Idealism goes to some extremes. He's Flanderized in his own movie!
• Everything out of The Lying Woman's mouth, like being the real-life Rambo's girlfriend.
  The Lying Woman: I have seen it all and done it all. I love money, and men like that. Remember when I went out with Burt Reynolds? Shoot, he was gonna quit the movies and live with me. I said, "Burt, darlin', I need all your money."
  • During the Lying Woman's long rambling stories during their date, Louis is obviously humoring her. The expressions on his face while he listens are hilarious.
• During the "Wild Wild Life" segment, the Computer Guy and some random man do some parodies of David Byrne's movements. Jerry Harrison shows up as a Prince impersonator (alongside Tina Weymouth cosplaying as Prince's then-girlfriend Apollonia). One of Weymouth's characters pulls off a blonde wig to reveal a bald wig underneath in the music video version, but doesn't appear in the film.
• The Impossibly Tacky Clothes fashion show. It culminates in The Cute Woman falling off the stage.
• "Um, did you fart?"
• The first part of the mall scene.
  The Narrator: Shoppers here go wherever the bargains are, wherever it's convenient to shop. They don't care if they shop in a funky old building downtown or in a clean, modern place like this. See, they're wise to advertisers' claims. In a place like this they can comparison shop.
  Margie Ortiz (walking into the frame): Everybody could hardly wait until the mall opened!
  The Narrator: ...said Margie Ortiz...
  Margie Ortiz: I go there almost every weekend. So do two other girls from work.
  The Narrator: See? I told you.
