* In the Thieves Guild quest "Misdirection", you're tasked with stealing Hrormir's Icestaff from the Arcane University's Arch-Mage and planting a note in their nightstand. If you just so happen to be the Arch-Mage yourself, you're effectively tasked with ''stealing from yourself'' and putting a note in ''your own'' nightstand.

* If you glitch you way into killing Mehrunes Dagon, he sort of deflates into a puddle of daedra since the game doesn't expect you to kill him and so he doesn't have ragdoll physics or a death animation.

* An infamous line in the game didn't edit out a bad take properly, leading to you ''hearing the voice actor'' say "Wait a minute, lemme do that again" and then repeat the line. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9REWMEOLdI Yes, really]].
** And even funnier, this mistake was made by the Master Trainer for Speechcraft!

No meta moment, see this query. Comment out a Zero Context Example, Weblinks Are Not Examples. Also remove a bad indentation about fan's comment of the video (Moment pages are about moment from the work)..

* On the meta level, Patrick Stewart was apparently given a 90-page document about the backstory of his character, so he'd be prepared to voice act them. While Bethesda were worried they'd gone overboard, Stewart was glad to be so prepared for a role. He voices Uriel Septim, who dies in the tutorial.

** If you've done some quests in Leyawiin, it's possible for the first guard to confront you to be one with a high disposition towards you, which has them dismiss the bounty promising to take care of it for you. While this eliminates the humorous situation of running away from a horde of guards while naked, it leads to a different amusing situation: the other guards who came running in response to the spell are still flagged to confront you. Much like when playing around with the gray cowl of Nocturnal, you'll be faced with a conga line of guards who all want to open a conversation with you, say their generic greeting (as if you were the one to initiate conversion), then go back to their business.
