  • Marco and Jackie's faces at the end of the first comic. It's clear that this turn of events is both unexpected and awkward.
  • Jackie, trying to break the ice with Jam, asks if he skates. Completely deadpan, he flicks back the cloak he's wearing to reveal he's on one right then.
    Jackie: That's my boy.
  • Jam becoming an instant Chick Magnet when he poses as a new student. Janna even holds up a sign with her phone number.
    • Marco isn't happy about this, worried that this is the opposite of low-key. Jackie doesn't mind this, saying he's "doing pretty good."
  • Marco's reaction to Future Glossaryck having two heads.
    • After that, we learn that Future Glossaryck actually has a third head. Although…
Future Glossaryck: But that head is much smaller, and in the… backseat.
Future Glossaryck (Unseen Head): Hey could you guys speak up? I can't hear a dang thing.
  • While Marco has a rather serious discussion with Future Glossaryck regarding his future and what he should do, Elizabeth and Jam are fighting. They go from fistfighting, to fencing, to chess, to Jenga, then have a literal Mid-Battle Tea Break.
  • The Reveal of where Elizabeth will be sleeping: in Jackie's house. Jackie tries to make the best of it, but Elizabeth is not happy.
  • The non-canon comic featuring Marco's daughter with Heckapoo. No dialogue, only two panels, and yet everyone's reactions are priceless.
  • One comic shows Marco going all How I Met Your Mother on Jam and Elizabeth. They point out the obvious problem.
  • Jam mistaking a birthday party for Marco's Sensei for a surprise attack. His reaction lands him in "Bad Babby Jail."
    • Janna does slip him a slice of cake, though. His blissful reaction makes it obvious that he's never had cake before.
  • The short montage of Star and Marco from Elizabeth's timeline being Amazingly Embarrassing Parents due to their shared love of Love Sentence.
  • Marco's reaction upon seeing the final two teams in the Love Sentence game show be Star/Elizabeth and Jackie/Jam.
  • When the host assumes that Jam and Jackie are dating, their reaction is exactly what you'd expect.
  • When things get heated and Jam and Elizabeth start fighting, the host pulls a Stan Pines.
Host: Wow, children fighting! We can sell this!
  • Jam and Elizabeth are hiding behind a billboard, watching the concert. After Elizabeth goes in for an awkward sibling hug and Jam refuses, the two then see a blast of green magic careening right towards them…
  • When Star and Marco go to Mewni for Song Day, Marco leaves Elizabeth to watch over the house. Once she's alone with no one to stop her, she immediately pours herself a bowl of the same Sugar Seed Cereal that Star was stealing from Marco when she got captured by Rhombulus.
    • Upon learning that Marco lied to Jackie about his whereabouts that night and realizing that she just accidentally blew Marco's cover to Jackie, Elizabeth spits out her cereal all over Jam and tries to convince Jackie that she meant that Marco was doing karaoke in his room, which obviously wasn’t successful.
  • Star unconvincingly denying that she lies awake at night thinking about Marco.
  • Despite the rising tensions between all parties on page 31, Ruberiot still manages to inject a little humor by saying the wrong thing at the worst possible time.
Ruberiot: (to Star) Ta-da! It's your daughter!
    • A very unflattering picture of Elizabeth is used when Ruberiot is singing about how she's Star's daughter.
  • Page 33 starts out serious, with Marco attempting to reconcile with Jackie after lying to her about his whereabouts and Jackie asking him if she'll ever be as important as Star… and then Jam has a breakdown.
Jam: I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! Mother, will you forgive Father if he starts spending more time with you?
    Jackie: I… guess?
Jam: Father! Will you spend more time with Mother?
    Marco: Um… yes?
Jam: GREAT! IT'S SETTLED THEN! THANK YOU! I'M OUT!
  • Star asks Elizabeth how much of the past she and Jam changed. Elizabeth claims that she's pretty sure they didn't change much… right after we see a trio of newspaper articles that pretty much say otherwise.
  • Everyone gasps when Elizabeth reveals that Toffee is behind Ludo's actions...except Jam, who asks who would name their kid after a food.
  • After storming Ludo's castle, Moon asks Elizabeth if she knows how they can find Glossaryck, which she does, having learned it from her mom. It turns out that this "method" is the old box-and-stick trap with pudding as bait.
  • After losing his blaster in the climax, Jam starts chucking rocks at Toffee!Moon's head. She mocks him for going for a weapon weaker than his blaster… then shuts up when they see the grenade being lobbed at her.
  • When reassuring Elizabeth that they'll beat Toffee somehow, Star tells her that they have each other, and that two heads are better than one. A confused Jam quickly points out that he's still there.
Star: …Okay, three heads are better than one.
  • Elizabeth decides to test out her broken wand to see if it still works. She manages to summon a fist… that then deflates and catches fire.
  • While hanging out (oblivious to the current situation) Marco tries to guess Jackie's favorite movie. As a nod to the fan theory that Jackie is secretly a mermaid, he guesses that it's The Little Mermaid. But nope, it turn's out her favorite movie is Saw! This shocks him so much that he does a Spit Take. Like Father, like daughter.
  • River's idea on how to get Moon back? Show her a paper fan with a picture of himself, shirtless and posed sexily, on it.
    Jam: That might work.
Star: (covering Elizabeth's eyes) Yeah, just let us handle it, dad.
  • Page 58 starts with Elizabeth crying on the stairs… until she gets spooked out when Jam sits next to her and yells at him to stop sneaking up on people.
  • Elizabeth's face after Jam tells his backstory to her.
    Elizabeth: Al...right then.
  • Page 62 has Toffee confronting Star, Elizabeth, and Jam outside the royal castle, ominously remarking that they know what he's there for. Star nods silently, holding up a jar… which, as Toffee bemusedly points out, contains a pickle. And no, this wasn't an attempt at a fake-out; Star freaks out when she realizes the mistake.
    • Bonus points for the finger ended up - in the middle of a sandwich that River was about to eat!
  • On page 76, after taking control of Jackie's body as part of her plan to get the wand back, Eclipsa puts up a safety railing so she won't fall off the cliff and have her memories and personality erased.
  • On page 81, after Jam manages to snatch the wand (with Jackie sealed inside it) before Eclipsa can claim it, prompting her to throw a smoke bomb in order to cover her escape. Everybody thinks she just teleported away, but a panel shows she's just huddling up behind a nearby rock.
