• Poor Woodstock makes the mistake of building a nest in the camp's PA system horn, and promptly gets blown out of it the next morning.
• During the sack race, Marcie remarks to Peppermint Patty, "I wasn't born to be a potato."
  • Also when an announcement gives a military time of 1800 hours (i.e., "6:00 PM"), Sally exclaims, "I wasn't even born in 1800!"
  • The military time gets another joke with Franklin. When they're told that they'll be expected to be up by 0500, he asks if that's around noon-time. Charlie Brown informs him that it's 5a.m.
    Franklin: Five in the morning! I don't get up at five in the morning! Maybe I should transfer.
• While lost in the woods, Snoopy takes refuge in a cabin in the mountains, but is awoken in the middle of the night by banging on the door. He opens the door and finds... a grizzly bear. Snoopy freaks out and runs away, but so does the bear.
• After the overnight snowstorm, the girls listen to the radio announcer advise travelers to "put on chains immediately".
  Sally: Put on chains?!! Being locked up here in the middle of nowhere isn't enough! We gotta wear chains, too!
  Lucy: Good grief, Sally! Don't you know anything? They're talking about mountain climbing! Mountain climbers chain each other, so if one falls, they all fall! Boy, are you dumb!
• The waterbed scene.
  Marcie: Sir, you're making too much noise. Can't you just kiss [Snoopy] goodnight and let it go at that?
• The scene where Snoopy gets blanketed by snow, then Woodstock proceeds to build a house right on where his nose is. Snoopy angrily wakes up, unamused by this. The book had Snoopy scream out, "I AM NOT AN ALP!"
• The bullies argue over whether they should pull or push their raft off a rock. This gets them into a Big Ball of Violence, and even their cat joins in on the fracas.
