• The Shocker's reaction to Grim Reaper's revelation of his plot to destroy mankind with the zombie plague, his torture of the Punisher and his offer to the Shocker to join his ranks: "You're fucking nuts"
• The Shocker uses the Darkhold to make a group of zombies do the 'Thriller dance'.
• Anything said, ever, by Deadpool. Referring to C-list super villains by the names of DC heroes, such as Speed Demon as the Flash, and about how the author is just including him to make their story more popular with Deadpool fans are the most hilarious moments though.

• A borrowed, but well executed joke.
  • I've learned many things in my time on this planet, Herman," Ares said, before finishing his Growler of beer. "The more you sweat in training, the less you will bleed in combat. No plan survives first contact with the enemy. And, if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a bullet."
  • "Um... actually, Ares, I don't think that's how it goes... hey, wait, what are you - OH SHI-"
• A nod to the original Marvel Zombies which is both so dark and yet hilarious:
  • "I'm sure Reed Richards would take the proper precautions," Moonstone countered, hands on her hips. "A man like him would never let a zombie infection spread."
• Shocker recreating the climatic scene of Jaws in its Universal Studios ride to attack Ares.
