- Chainsaws work when they have gasoline in them.
- This exchange:Max: YOU!Jedediah: Me?Max: You've got a plane.Jedidiah: I do?(Sound of Jr. starting the plane's engines, forcing an Oh, Crap! look on Jed.)
- Jed Jr's Oh, Crap! moment:Jed Jr.: This is a stick up! Anybody moves, and they're dead meat!(Max and company stare in disbelief, then look behind at the oncoming horde of Auntie's men.)Jed Jr.: (wide-eyed) Oh... I think we're ALL dead meat!
- When Max has to pretend to be working at Bartertown's methane refinery. Tina Turner's delivery and timing really makes the line work.Max: Look, I don't know anything about methane.Aunty: (looking over her shoulder) You can shovel shit, can't you?
- Max and the children free Master from his imprisonment and have secured the methane factory. A single guard wanders in, sees the damage, sees Max angrily glaring back at him...Guard: Hi! (runs for it)
- Max quickly pursues him down the tunnel and the camera follows him but only to a point. Max runs into the darkness... and three seconds later comes running back with more guards pursuing him.
- Max and Savannah move quickly to barricade the door from those guards... only for a guard to shove a chainsaw - probably the one from the earlier Thunderdome fight! - to cut through the wooden door beam. Looks like someone remembered to gas it up this time...
- Max trying to explain the truth about the pre-"pockyclypse" world to the children, using their slang, doubles as funny and a tearjerker.
- The record artifact turns out to be... a French language instructional record. Quickly turns heartwarming when it begins to translate "Je rentre à la maison."Record: I'm going home.
Children: I'm going home.
Record: I'm going home.
