Funny / Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

  • When talking about the Origin Story from Norse Mythology, Druth becomes very dramatic about this part:
Druth: The ice continued to drip, and the power of the void gave life to it, and it became...a cow! Whose milk fed the giant. That's right, a cow. Bet you weren't expecting that.
  • As dark as it is, there is something mildly amusing and comforting about the disembodied voice addressing the player in the prologue. Senua is certainly used to the voices, but probably not to them breaking the fourth wall.
  • In a very dark way, in the finale when it looks like Senua is walking to her death, one of the voices raises the question of what happens to them if she dies. They all immediately change their mind on the whole quest idea.
