Funny / Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak

Go To

  • As in the previous game, Hamtaro can Tack-Q most characters and see their hilarious reactions to getting hurt. Bijou can also do this during her Solo Sequence.
    • If Hamtaro does a Tack-Q on the Postman, he gets angry and says he'll never deliver mail for Hamtaro again.
    • You can Tack-Q Spat at Fun Land and Sunny Peak. It's much funnier since Spat is the only one who deserves it.
    • When you Tack-Q the red ranger at Fun Land, which is necessary to do so for the sake of the plot, he teaches you Blash-T.
    • Hamtaro can also Tack-Q hamsters younger than him. One of the hamsters who teaches him Rubrub in the Sunny Peak cave cries and the other screams for help.
  • Hamtaro throwing trash at Spat which makes the Ham-o-Matic take Spat and throws him away. If Hamtaro tries to leave the area before telling the robot to clean, Spat yells for him to come back, despite the fact that he's still incapacitated.
    • The in-game description for the trash Hamtaro picks up: "A stinky mix of dirty old trash! Gross!"
  • After meeting Spat for the first time, he rams Hamtaro and gives his evil monologue while Hamtaro is just lying there twitching and Bijou seems too stunned to listen.
    • After that happens, Bijou worries that Spat will take all love away, and asks Hamtaro if they'll always love each other. It makes Hamtaro blush pretty cutely.
    • When you do the Hamigos ham-chat to Spat, he angrily declares that he doesn’t want a friendship with you.
  • Spat falling in the sea and getting swept away.
  • The Legendary Spoon.
    • To elaborate: You collect three marbles throughout the game, one red, one green, and one blue. Then you place them in a pedestal that looks like it has a sword in it. Then you tug on the sword. The 'Opening a Treasure Chest music' from The Legend of Zelda plays. And... IT'S A SPOON! It even plays the "Item Get" jingle backwards!
      • You then use said spoon to catapult yourselves into Spat's castle. The guard is shocked and greatly confused by this.
  • In Sunny Peak, if Hamtaro checks in some of the rustling bushes near the stream, a hamster jumps out and then runs away, embarrassed. If you Stickie where he was hiding, you find out the hamster was taking a bathroom break there. Hamtaro is disgusted and Bijou has an uncomfortable expression.
  • In Boo Manor's mirror room, you can Go-P on one of the mirrors, but the reflection doesn't do it, which is how you figure out it's the magic one. Otherwise it would have been... weird.
    • The depiction of Go-P in the ham-chat dictionary. Bijou doesn't do this for obvious reasons; she just stands there with a nervous smile on her face.
  • In Sunny Peak, when Hamtaro steps on the angry hamster's items, Bijou stands with a shocked and worried look on her face while Hamtaro gets yelled at.
  • Fun Land has the family of three near the popcorn stall. If Hamtaro does the Hif-Hif chat near the mother, he reacts with disgust while Bijou covers her nose. The mother says she's wearing a perfume intended for adults, to which their young son shouts "Ew, mommy's smelly!" The mother then yells at him to be quiet.
  • If Hamtaro tries the ham-chat Hamlift without Bijou, he jumps on nothingness before gravity takes over. The two hamsters who try to teach him this tell him he needs another hamster in order to learn it.
  • Using Blash-T against the merchant in Boo Manor. He panics as he takes down the price of the couples' card to get inside. Even better, you can haggle him down from his original asking price of 50 sunflower seeds to five.
  • Two of the bad ham-chats when you're trying to get Maxwell to pay attention to Sandy.
    • Hamtaro and Bijou can steal his book with the chat Offdoff, which upsets him.
    • Then, you can use Blash-T twice in a row. Maxwell will counter with "The Reason You Suck" Speech which gets interrupted by a narration reading "Maxwell scolded you for a really long time!"
