Fridge: WMAC Masters

Fridge Brilliance
  • On the first episode of WMAC Masters, most of the masters explained why they chose their Ki Symbols: for instance, Great Wolf was Jamie Webster's actual Native American name and Baby Doll was Bridget Reilly's father's pet name for her. Word of God later gave reasons for most of the others, like Red Dragon was the type of Kung Fu Chris Casamassa was originally trained in and Bam was called that because that's what Willie Johnson yells instead of KIAI. However, it was never explained why Larry Lam chose Warlock and in the second season, he turned out to be a traitor working for Jakito; Warlock literally means Oathbreaker.

Fridge Logic
  • Olympus says one of the clues that Warlock was a bad guy was the way he helped the ninja back onto the platform during the Dragon Star Match. No one has ever helped a ninja during a Dragon Star match, it's unheard of, Olympus says. But wait, that ninja was about to get hurt, and isn't Compassion one of the Eight Points of the Dragon Star?
