• The prophecy that led the Ilael up into Unitafels territory in the first place stated that if a stolen gem was returned, they'd be given a gift. Uduak has clearly decided Liam was the gift, but that raises the question of who was responsible for that prophecy.
• The fact that Liam can't lie means a lot of his statements need a second look to see their true meaning.
• Liam has never actually come out and said that Jurgen is dead. Liam can't lie.
• Koert's death heavily impacts the story. Thirza's love for Koert is why she shows Parental Favoritism toward Rutger. It's likely that Liam's own affection for the man as well as Koert's Heroic Sacrifice are the reasons Liam didn't solve all these issues by simply killing Rutger before Rutger had a chance to put his plan into place.
• Liam can't lie. Liam always uses female pronouns when talking about Gian, and the capture of Wendel and Jurgan came about because Liam told them to avoid the Manisarian woman.
