** The use of the Dairanger Suits is implied to be because they're a Ranger Team that didn't come from Earth. This is actually consistent with what the series has shown in the past that multiple other planets have had their own teams, such an [[Series/MightyMorphinAlienRangers Aquitar]], [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace KO-35]] , and[[Series/PowerRangersLostGalaxy Mirinoi]] (while the Space and Lost Galaxy teams we see were primarily human, the original members of both teams were natives to their homeworld before the humans took up the mantel). It is entirely possible that, particularly in the case of the Lost Galaxy Rangers, Gosei would have had to get powers from another world anyway and decided to get ''all'' the Ranger Teams in the known universe.

* Jake being Megafore Black and Super-Mega Green makes sense since teams of five rangers tend to alternate between black and green while Red, Blue, Yellow and Pink tend to be a main stay (with exceptions here and there).
** Not really FridgeBrilliance. It already happened with Adam Park who went from Mighty Morphin Black Ranger to Green Zeo Ranger and his successor Carlos from Green Turbo Ranger to Black Space Ranger.

** Super Megaforce using Gokaiger's suit mirrors the transition between the original MMPR to Zeo. It helps that Gokaiger and Zeo share the same colors as well.
*** In a meta sense, the fact that ''Megaforce'' concluded on a downer note directly leading into the next "season" can also be considered a mirror to the MMPR to Zeo transition.
** It doesn't stop there. The Super Megaforce season is a whole throwback to Zeo. The colors, the downer cliffhanger, and an armada from space that attacks with robots. Troy even said something that basically says "Stronger than before".

** Vrak being alien royalty implies that he and Warz Gills' counterpart are brothers. This would be just like Queen Bandora from ''Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger'' and Junior from ''Series/NinjaSentaiKakuranger'' becoming siblings Rita Repulsa and Rito Revolto
*** This is even smarter when you see how Vrak and Vekar actually share some similarities in design.
*** And if you want to go Meta their Sentai Counterparts both had Riichi Seikie as their primary suit actor.

** More evidence to that effect: In one episode of [[Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder Dino Thunder]], the White Dino Ranger and his evil clone were feeling weak. It turned out that the two of them couldn't exist at the same time. Same principle for the Megaforce Rangers (except, you know, either one trying to destroy the other).
** Who's to say the [[Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Gokaigers']] Ranger Keys didn't work the same. The only difference was that the Gokaigers' Keys were made by the other teams sacrificing their powers. For all we know, the Gokaigers could've had the same problems if their Keys shared the power like the Megaforce Rangers' keys.
** It could also be the case of the fact that some of those ranger forms are straight up not meant for them. Similar to Jason and the Gold Zeo Ranger powers, those powers were meant for a Triforian, thus Jason's body is slowly rejecting them. This can also explain why it's hard to maintain, the Time Force powers not only come from the future, but are DNA locked, the Mystic Force powers are magical and requires one who believes in magic, the Jungle Fury powers require mastery of one's spirit animal (which Jake and Emma trained to harness to be fair), and finally the RPM powers are not only pulling from a different universe, but are also DNA locked.

** If you read a bit into this, it ''does'' make sense that they're switched around. The Rangers are inheriting all the other powers of the Power Rangers, and with it, their duty to protect the Earth and willing to give everything they got into saving it. Recall that in Gokaiger, [[spoiler:the Sentai are more than willing to permanently give up their powers if it means the Zangyack are gone with it]]. They weren't space pirates who only learned about their heritage once they landed on Earth like their counterparts, and so the mantra of taking something if they want it never occur in their heads. Meanwhile, the Armada's ruthlessness is reflected in their motto and could be akin to that of a pirate. What is usually said after "If we want it, we'll just take it" is "that's what ''pirates'' do."

** Also, due to the original Sentai footage been used, whenever Orion gets in the suit and uses his zord, he seems to act in a less collected way, losing his cold demeanor. In story, his dialogue gots peppered with lots of hoary, almost hysterical references to "justice", "vengeance", constant references to the final fate of Andrasia and requests to be the one giving the final blow to the Armada: basically, wherever Orion is empowered, he vents towards the Armada all the rage, sorrow and helplessness he felt when his entire people died.
*** A subset of the Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome, the Survivor's Guilt, lists between its symptoms depression, social withdrawal and mood swings.

** [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot Too bad they never give us any background information on the new powers]], not to mention that some of the "New Powers" end up [[SpotlightStealingCrossover getting more use]] than [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace actual]] [[Series/PowerRangersLightspeedRescue Power]] [[Series/PowerRangersTimeForce Rangers]] [[Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive teams]].

** The only exception seems to be the Ninja Power Coins used by the MMPR. Although, with all the timeline changes, the Power Coins being destroyed and Aisha sending Tanya back to the Command Center in her place, the timeline adapted in such a way that the events of Season 3 didn't happen, and the Rangers just went from the Dino Coins straight to the Zeo Crystal. Tommy is later shown the have the Falconzord, though he likely met up with Ninjor and reclaimed it off-screen.

** We even get a good look at the damage caused to the mall and the school.
** Another raise to the death counter with the fact Orion's ''entire planet'' was wiped out, with him the only survivor.
** Vrak's endgame was ''this'' close to ''obliterating'' the entire planet.
** And then there's the finale where the Armada launches a ''full scale freaking invasion of the planet''. We even see people buried in rubble and trapped in elevators due to the damage. [[spoiler:If the past Rangers hadn't been running around rescuing people]], how many people might have died in that? Even if every Ranger ever was in on this and not just the ones we saw, we're talking a ''global'' invasion; there's no way they got to everyone.
** That kid that Tommy saves with Saba. That scene was cool, yes... but where were the adults? The kid was in the back of the van, so no, no improbable scenario where the child alone was responsible for the van being there. Nobody was even standing around saying "Somebody help him!" or anything like that. Someone left their kid to die; by dumb luck, a certain "[[Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder ordinary high school science teacher]]" happened to be in the neighborhood. And those neglectful parents are who the kid is going back to after this is all over!
** I much prefer to think of it as dumb writing leading to this instead of it being any kind of intentional. They just wanted was to introduce Tommy in a cool way and show off horrible child acting. If there had been any parents in that car, how did they get out without making the car tip over? If they got out surely with the way the car was the loss of weight at the front would have made it tip backwards?
* What level of EldritchAbomination is Gosei? Remember, the big metal face on the wall is AFormYouAreComfortableWith. Consider how many strange creatures have been able to take on full human forms, and then think of how alien this guy has to be for a giant metal face on the wall, only humanoid in the barest of terms, to be the best he can do when making himself more human to be comprehensible to the Rangers. Gosei's true form must be "give HP Lovecraft nightmares"-level alien.

* Vekar's timer on the bombs might seem odd, especially for someone as DangerouslyGenreSavvy as he was, but his bomb was set to explode sometime in the middle of the night, when the Power Rangers could be sleeping and thus unable to defend the Earth from the missile attack. Keep in mind that the only problem that led to his plan unraveling was that [[SpannerInTheWorks Troy managed to look at the mooks working on the missiles.]]

* Vrak's entire final plan could be summed up as 'drilling through the Earth when it was dark', which is essentially one of Vekar's earliest major plans when he arrived on the Earth. It goes to show how DangerouslyGenreSavvy Vekar was.

** And then there's the finale where the Armada launches a ''full scale freaking invasion of the planet''. We even see people buried in rubble and trapped in elevators due to the damage. [[spoiler:If the past Rangers hadn't been running around rescuing people]], how many people might have died in that?

** Not really Fridge. It all began with Super Sentai after all.

* Gosei's [[OhCrap reaction]] to Marvo's announcement he's launching a full scale invasion makes perfect since. Listen to how he speaks. It's not hard to imagine he's having flashbacks to [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace the last full scale alien invasion of Earth]] where things got so desperate that [[spoiler:his mentor Zordon had to sacrifice himself to stop it]]. Is it any wonder he stresses the severity of what's happening?
