In Postal III, the Postal Dude is in the search of gasoline to get out of town. However, he picks up multiple gas cans through out the game but only uses them to light enemies on fire. Why doesn't he use them to actually fuel up his car and get out of Catharsis?!
In the ending of a Pacifist Run, he actually does exactly this.
Fridge Brilliance
In the first game, Tokyo and Osaka are included as bonus levels. While how the Postal Dude got there is up for interpretation, the reason for their inclusion makes sense—in the original game, at least. While it does not appear in Redux, the credits features a line near the end that supports This Troper's fridge-theory:
Why did The Dude get fired on his first day in 2? When the game starts, he says "I was a little hungover yesterday, but I think I remember where I work". When he's fired, he says "But I just started yesterday!" It'd be safe to assume he wasn't sober at all on his first day and was oblivious to his firing.
