Fridge Brilliance

  • In Eternal Senia: Hydrangea After The Rain, Aphinor formed an alliance with Senia rather easily after the latter resisted her Lotus-Eater Machine, and seemed to drop her original modus operandi completely in favor of helping Senia. Later, it turns out that Kulian, the Guardian of Fate, intends to force the entire world into a painless utopia, which is eerily similar to what Aphinor did to those who explored the Tower of Eternity. In hindsight, she was most likely using the tower as a Secret Test of Character to find people capable of resisting Kulian's temptations.

Fridge Horror

  • The resemblances of Senia and Magaleta to the female Swordsman and the High Priestess from Ragnarok Online go beyond skin deep. They are actually based on the MMORPG's two MVP bosses, Ygnizem / Egnigem Cenia and High Priestess Magaleta / Margaretha Sorin. The facts that Senia occupies the Endless Tower (a name analogous to the Tower of Eternity) and that Senia and Magaleta occupy two respective floors of the Bio Laboratory make Ending 1 all the more harrowing to the player.
