Gatchaman is a sci-fi anime-based franchise created by Tatsunoko Production. It has appeared in several incarnations:
- Science Ninja Team Gatchaman — the 1972 anime with two American versions: Battle of the Planets (which had comic book adaptations) and G-Force: Guardians of Space.
- Gatchaman II — a second series set 2 years after the first.
- Gatchaman Fighter — a third series that is a direct sequel.
- Eagle Riders — an American revision of Gatchaman II and Fighter.
- Gatchaman — a 1994 OVA.
- Gatchaman — a 2013 live-action film based on the original.
- Gatchaman Crowds — a 2013 reboot of the original series. A sequel series, Insight, was released in 2015.
