Fanfic Recs: The Boondocks
Proof that the remaining 10% is worth dying for here:

These are recommendations made by Tropers for The Boondocks, all of which have been signed. After a few samples, you will be able to judge whether you might be interested in the 'fic, based on who recommended it. No-name recommendations will be zapped. Nobody would back up the rec. Discussion of the recommendation is welcome on the discussion page. As such discussion is important, do remember to add the discussion page to the watchlist, if need be.

Do warn when a fanfic may head into homosexual or non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is Serious Business.

Authors, and Websites

None Yet.

Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

Boondocks Forever by Revolutionary-in-the-making
  • Recommended by kyuubidriven
  • Synopsis: It is a collection of tales in the Boondocks universe.
  • Comments: The writer strives to keep the characters in character and deals with satire. There is a lot of humor in this story.

Facebookin' by Lovin' Huey Freeman
  • Recommended by Nexus
  • Synopsis: What would happen if Huey were convinced to join the Facebook community? Conspiracy, murder, statuses, photos, and friend requests... Why did he ever agree to this...?
  • Comments: Very hilarious, and the author emulates Mc Gruder's comedic and satirical style quite well.

Stories focused on the romantic relationships between the cast.

The Life and Times Of Wuncler High School and The Sequel by TRIGGER MIKE THE GREAT
  • Recommended by Nexus
  • Pairings: Huey/Jazmine, Caesar/Cindy, Riley/OC
  • Synopsis: As you can probably tell from the title, it's a Time Skip fic with Huey as a high school senior, where he has to deal with racist teachers, preppy gangsters, and later on more dangerous opponents.
  • Comments: If you're into a lot of action, you may want to check this out. Be warned, however, that there is a prominent original character that is very easy to dislike.
