- Synopsis: Even if you try to stand still, everything will shift around you. Staying the same isn't an option. Based on the anime and set post-TSR. Kaname and Sousuke. Melissa and Kurz. COMPLETE! YES! Rated for Melissa's foul mouth, battles, and implied indecencies.
- Comments: Very long, and so very worth it. The author tackles some of the big questions raised by the anime but never completely answered, like what kind of future a Whispered like Kaname has and what the wider implications of Lambda Drivers on AS piloting might be. There’s also a lovely heaping dose of believable character development. Very highly recommended.

- Synopsis: Amalgam is destroyed, Mithril is disbanded, and Leonard Tesstarossa is dead. This doesn't mean the end of the relentless pursuit of black technology.
- Took place right after the finale of the FMP, Almagram may had been defeated but the world's struggle for power continued as the US cut its tie with Mithril and tried to take hold on the Black Technology in general and the Whispered themselves. This is the first volume of the series Sword and Shield and according to the preview, there will be 19 other volumes.
- Comments: Excellent action scenes and characterisation. Some reader may find problem with how the author portraited the US and Clinton but please take it in mind that in this universe, the Cold War was never ended and the Soviet continued to exist. The plot also focus Sousuke and Kaname's life with each other after becoming a couple with their newfound dynamic along with the exploration of other characters such as Mira Kudan, several OCs and the introduction of Majhid, Sousuke's adoptive father.
The Most Dangerous Game by dave-d

- Pairing: Sousuke/Kaname
- Synopsis: Kaname has been kidnapped, to force Sousuke to participate in a gladitorial-type contest. The story is reworked slightly to fit into the same continuum as 'Christmas Cake' and 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner'
- Comments: The plot is pretty simple: a bunch of sadistic elites addicted of watching professional killers slaughter each other in a The Hunger Games-style tournament while betting on the winner. As a change of pace, they set eyes on Sousuke, assuming him to be a better-than-average military-otaku civilian based on his (obviously fake) profile and kidnapped Kaname to force him to participate in their game. Their mistake is that it's Sagara Sousuke we're talking about; who in this story has already got together with Kaname so now he's running on The Power of Love with a growing list of enemies he wants to take out for touching his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Kaname is trying her best to assist Sousuke's battle and plotting her own escape too; and Mithrill isn't too please with how those people touching the couple either so prepare to watch the fireworks! Overall, it was a good simple story with great and detailed description of action scenes. I also recommend people to try the author's many other stories.

- Comments: The characterization of Sousuke and Kaname entering into a closer relationship is handled very well, and the pacing of the story is also spot-on.
