Just some chapters and I couldn't stop reading! Gumshoe and the others are, indeed, amusingly in character while the OCs are great and fit well. I think this is a unique relationship since, because of [[spoiler: Adrian's sickness]] and Franziska's guilt, both don't know if it's love or not. I suggest giving it a try even if you don't like the pairing, it takes some time but the fluff is more than worth it. It's finally finished too!
