Slave to Passion
is a Goosebumps fanfiction by SideshowJazz1.
Based mainly on the "Living Dummy" franchise, when a fourteen-year-old girl is given Slappy. When she accidentally brings him to life and he attempts to make her his slave, she is too afraid and overwhelmed to resist, and complies. The story goes on to show how their relationship develops, especially as Slappy finds a way to turn human at times.
Slave to Passion provides examples of the following tropes:
- Break the Cutie: Roxanne was always shy and quiet, but her situation almost drives her to depression.
- Death Song: Appropriately, The Art Of Suicide:"Under the arches of moonlight and sky, suddenly easy to contemplate why, why...why live a life..."
- Shout-Out: Roxanne's favourite artist is violinist/singer Emilie Autumn. Her songs are often suggested to fit her character, particularly "Gothic Lolita", "Dead Is The New Alive" and "The Art Of Suicide".
