The Total Drama Nui Kaua Series is a series of Total Drama stories by 16Doobop13, where Chris McLean hosts the show at Lake Nui Kaua, on an island in the South Pacific.

Total Dram Zero Sum is the first in the series. 24 contestants come to Lake Nui Kaua for a shot at the million. Each team is given various luxuries to make camp life easier - but in order to keep them, they must stay away from the dreaded Po'ino Bonfire ceremony and the Coals of Shame.

Total Drama Nui Kaua is the second in the series. 24 new contestants come for a shot at the million. They not only have to deal with the wild personalities, but the Honeymoon Cabin, the Hang Glider of Shame and the multitude of Twist Tikis, each with a different effect on the game.

Total Drama Nui Kaua: The Cursed Island is the third in the series. 25 contestants come in for a shot at the million - 18 new contestants, and seven returning from Zero Sum and Nui Kaua. This time, not only do the contestants have to survive each other, they have to also survive the Curses - twists that occur every round that require the contestants to think on their feet to stay in the game and away from the Coffin of Shame and the Horror Hearse.

Total Drama Nialasach is the fourth in the series. One year after the successful Nui Kaua trilogy, Chris McLean obtains a new island, Crios Cath, this one in the North Pacific. 24 new contestants will be battling it out for another million dollars. There, like Zero Sum, they must compete to obtain and keep camp luxuries, and survive the Tine Naofa Bonfire Elimination and the Tomb of Shame.

Total Drama Crios Cath is the fifth in the series. The largest one yet, with thirty-six contestants, each fighting for a million dollars, and the harshest one, with no amenities at camp whatsoever. There is a new mechanic in play, where each clan bets part of their land before each challenge. The team that wins the challenge gets the amount of land that the losing team bet. The players must survive the Tine Naofa Bonfire Elimination and the Shame-teranean Cavern, the latter of which holds an artifact that allows for re-entry into the game.

Total Drama Hud Hynafol Upright is the sixth story in the series. It is the smallest, at twenty-two contestants, but it makes up for its small size by giving each contestant a unique power along with a unique rule, adding a degree of unpredictability not seen in the other games.

Total Drama Hud Hynafol Reversed is an alternate version of Hud Hynafol Upright, featuring characters created by the author vice those submitted by the readers. Just like in Upright, the cards add an extra layer of unpredictability.

     The Nui Kaua Series

  • Deserted Island: Lake Nui Kaua is one in the South Pacific. Crios Cath is in the North Pacific

     Total Drama Zero Sum
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Carys finishes second, but Kaede gives half the prize money to her to pay for her brother's kidney transplant, which is the entire reason she wanted to win the game.
  • Friend to All Living Things: Exaggerated. Damon continually helps out random birds and insects, even during the challenges. As an example, he is the last contestant introduced because he helped a seagull from a plastic six pack ring, nursed it to health, called an animal rescue team to nurse the seagull back to health, and cooked lunch for the animal rescue team.

     Total Drama Nui Kaua
  • Batman Gambit: Zubin lied about his fear to make the challenge easier for him. This backfires on him when Chris reveals that production verified them, forcing Zubin to repeat the challenge with his actual fear.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: When he was younger, Clay's family got into a car accident, of which he was the only survivor. He was therefore made an orphan and nobody seemed to care about him, so he became a typical juvenile delinquent and did multiple stints in juvie.
  • Irony: Kevin ignored doing one of the challenges to look for an immunity tiki. He then has to use it for that exact round, as he was voted off for sitting the challenge out.
  • Non-Gameplay Elimination: A contestant is medevaced from the game after suffering a heart attack.

Total Drama Nui Kaua: The Cursed Island

     Total Drama Nialasach
  • Call-Back: In two ways to Zero Sum.
    • The same luxury mechanic is used - the team that wins a challenge gets to take a luxury from the team that loses.
    • Each challenge is not only inspired by, but designed by the Zero Sum contestant that was eliminated in that place in the game.

     Total Drama Crios Cath
  • Comes Great Responsibility: Four of the five clans have a king or queen acting as leader. This person gets the final say on team decisions, wins any tiebreakers by default, has a special power, may choose his or her successor if eliminated, and can request to host an elimination ceremony to eliminate a target. However, if the clan is dissolved, the king or queen is automatically eliminated, and if (s)he calls an elimination ceremony, the jury is of three members of the other clans, and that jury votes to eliminate the target or the king or queen.
  • Not Quite Dead: The Shame-teranean Cavern holds a special Crios Cath Druidic Artifact that allows whomever finds and returns it to re-enter the game and permanently eliminate anyone else in the cavern.
