Fan Fic: Pretty Cure Four Seasons
Pretty Cure Four Seasons is a fanseries by Ryanasaurus0077 with a four seasons thematic and a Greek Mythology influence.

This fanseries contains examples of:

  • Academic Athlete: Natsuru Kaji, who even has the Oxford accent to match her brains.
  • Actor Allusion: "Wanna know how I got these scars?" Also, in an odd cross-language example, L.A. Strong/Vlad gets to tell Poseidon, "Good evening, Commissioner."
    • In the English dub, Vlad/Draco isn't the first Chechen gangster to be performed by Ritchie Coster.
    • Rica Fukami was the voice of someone called Venus before.
      • For that matter, Japanese!Demeter is once again looking for warriors to protect her daughter.
    • Ares wants to cancel the apocalypse.
    • English!Demeter was a dentist back in the '90s, just as she is in this series.
  • Actually Pretty Funny: Hades sees his portrayal in Disney's Hercules as this. Other villainous depictions of him? Not so much.
  • Big Bad: L.A. Strong/Vlad.
  • Big Good: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades all share this role.
  • British Accents: Mostly the Greek gods and goddesses. To wit:
    • Zeus's accent is Lancashire.
    • Hera's accent is BBC English.
    • Poseidon's accent is BBC English.
    • Demeter's accent is Londonderry.
    • Dionysus's accent is Yorkshire.
    • Apollo's accent is Welsh.
    • Artemis's accent is BBC English.
    • Hermes's accent is Estuary.
    • Athena's accent is East Anglian.
    • Ares's accent is Cockney.
    • Aphrodite's accent is BBC English.
    • Hephaestus's accent is South Lancashire.
    • Hades's accent is BBC English.
  • Dance Battler: Fuyumi Nagato.
  • The Determinator: Sakura Harukaze. Also the other three Cures, for that matter.
  • Dragged into Drag: Headmistress Momiji wants all her children to be educated at her elevator school. Yes, even if any of them happen to be male.
  • Dub Name Change: Non-Japanese versions switch around the names of three of the villains:
  • Everybody Hates Hades: Averted. Hades is one of the good guys, if a bit rough on the edges, and even hates most villainous portrayals of him save one. In fact, this trope is the only reason why he hates his job.
Hades: I was fearsome, yes, and I still am even today, but I would never plot against my brothers.
  • Fake Brit: Marty Friedman as the voice of Draco/L.A. Strong.
  • Four Is Death: And four Pretty Cures are hired by the Greek god of death himself to protect Persephone.
  • Gender-Blender Name: Natsuru.
  • Meganekko: Natsuru, again.
  • The One Guy: Aki, to both Pretty Cure and the Momiji Private School student body. For the latter, though, he's closer to one of the few.
  • One Of These Things Is Not Like The Others: In the English dub, eleven of the Twelve Olympians are British. Aphrodite is actually an American raised in Britain.
  • Playing Against Type: Hades as a fictional character is an In-Universe example; a bunch of movies and TV shows based on Greek mythology seem to like casting him as the villain. In this series, he's one of three characters that play the role of Big Good.
  • The Queen's Latin: As mentioned above, the Twelve Olympians speak with British accents, be they natural or acquired.
  • Shorttank: Natsuru.
  • Shout-Out: The rearrangements of the names of three of the villains is quite reminiscent of a similar rearrangement of the names of three of the villains (specifically M. Bison, Balrog, and Vega) in Street Fighter.
  • Unfortunate Name: In the original Japanese version, L.A. Strong/Vlad. It doesn't help that "Vlad" and the comparatively benign "Brad" can be spelled the same way in Japanese.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: Aki.
