Northern Conqueror
is a Game of Thrones fanfic where Lysa Arryn, paranoid about Sansa stealing away Petyr Baelish, sends Sansa to the Wall instead of keeping her at the Eyrie.

- Action Film, Quiet Drama Scene: Several scenes not focused on epic battles are dedicated to quiet moments like the Stark siblings' reunion, further characterization of main and supporting characters, and budding relationships such as Jon's developing romance with Sansa and Daenerys.
- Action Girl: Brienne, Arya, and later both Dany and Sansa. Also the Fireguard, Sansa's own protection force is made up mostly of red-haired women.
- Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Inverted with Sansa, who isn't sent to Ramsay and raped. Played straight with Alys Karstark, who takes Sansa's place as the Northern girl offered to the Boltons.
- Adapted Out: Jon saying "Olly" when he gets stabbed. He says "Ghost" instead.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Lysa Arryn. Considering she thought that Brienne was going to steal Littlefinger...
- Dies Differently in Adaptation:
- Downplayed, Stannis is still killed as in canon except Brienne was not his killer.
- Fed to his dogs by Sansa in the show, here Ramsay is executed by Jon after being defeated by his army.
- Eye Scream: Jon's horse gets shot in the eye during the Battle of the Bastards.
- Fix Fic: Part this and an Alternate Universe Fic, exploring the results of Lysa sending Sansa to the Wall, as well as improving upon Season 7 and 8.
- For Want Of A Nail: Thanks to Sansa's output Jon manages to rally almost the entire North against Ramsay, and would, with help, later create plans that will bring about Ramsay's fall much faster than in canon.
- Heel–Face Turn: Harald Karstark, disgusted with himself over offering Alys to the Boltons, decides to turn on Ramsay in the Battle of the Bastards and helps Alys escape to Jon's lines.

- Stannis's disastrous campaign occurs off-page, though Brienne does not kill him as in the show.
