"Once, there was a group of heroes. Heroes that lived separately from each other, from not just homes, but universes. This team consisted of: A talking sponge who knows martial arts. A boy with magic fairies. A boy genius. A boy with ghost powers. A female cyborg with many weapons, and a little boy who had nothing, but the love of his ten sisters."

A Nickelodeon crossover fanfic series by a user named CrapperGeek.

The Evil Syndicate has returned, with one more attempt to rule the world. The Nicktoons crew must form again to foil their new plan. Oh, and Lincoln Loud joins them, while his ten sisters go on a journey to retrieve him, with Jenny by their side.

Nickelodeon Heroes serves as both an alternate timeline and a continuation of Nicktoons Unite!. You can read the finished story here.

In Nick Heroes 2: Rise of the Cluster, the Nicktoons (now joined by new allies Zim and El Tigre) face Queen Vexus and her army of Clusters.

In Nickelodeon Heroes 3, the Nicktoons once again have to team up to face their greatest threat ever: a Villain Team-Up between Vicky, Snaptrap and Sartana of the Dead. Also has a sequel in 3 5, which has gone through several revisions and Development Hell.

Nicktoons: N-Force is the fourth installment. In it, a mysterious force is wiping out all the male characters, forcing Sandy, Sam, Cindy and Tootie (among others) to team up in order to save their friends.

Nick Heroes: Glob Attack is a very rough re-imagining of Globs of Doom, revolving around SpongeBob, Timmy, Lincoln, Jenny, the TMNT and their allies teaming up to defeat a mysterious slime-filled enemy.

A couple short stories were written: one revolving around April Fools Day, and another revolving around the team becoming superheroes in a comic book. Nickelodeon Heroes Slime-Thologies also features several oneshots.Almost all of them are deleted.

Part I contains example of:

  • All Just a Dream: In chapter 55, Lincoln believes this after waking up to hear Clyde not knowing about the beam incident. It wasn't.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: According to Sheen, the reason he left Zeenu was because of a war that ended lives, doomed the planet, and destroyed all the milkshakes. Also, there was no TV to watch Ultra-Lord.
    • Also, when the toons visit Bikini Bottom, an area of the city is in total chaos, with fires, vandals, muggers, and a fish screaming that someone stole his remote.
  • Bait-and-Switch: Calamitous describes the horrors of prison showers.
"Do you want to know what they do to you in the showers? They hit your behinds with towels, and ugh, it hurts!"
    • After Lincoln ruins the pageant, you’d think Lola would’ve lost the entire thing, especially from how angry she was at her brother. However, she actually still WON the pageant, yet was still angry at Lincoln for the humiliation.
  • Break the Cutie: Spectra tries to do this to Lincoln. Surprisingly, Lincoln doesn’t fall for it, and ends up getting bored by her.
  • Brick Joke: Sheen thinks the Evil Syndicate refers to a group of villains from Ultra-Lord. Then, Calamitous reveals that he actually took his groups name from the show.
    • Patrick wonders if a pants universe exists. Then, during the climax, he and Spongebob pay a visit to it.
    • The Stranger Things shout-Out.
  • Call-Back: Many references to episodes from the shows are throughout the story:
    • Crocker has pictures in his lair of his past plan failures, most notably, Abra-Catastrophe!. Of course, Crocker notes how he doesn’t remember what happened.
    • As Jimmy heads to Bikini Bottom with Timmy, Cosmo says that he’s banned from the ocean, possibly referencing the events of Something’s Fishy. note
    • Carl refers to his pregnancy with an alien jellyfish from “Who’s Your Mommy?”, when he attracts jellyfish. Of course, Spongebob gets grossed out by this fact.
    • In Chapter 15, Plankton uses a huge jellyfish to cause a rampage in the Bikini Bottom, (Actually a possessed fairy which he later names Lawrance) much like his fantasy from "FUN"
    • MLAATR’s “I Was A Preschool Dropout” has a few references in the story. Not only is the “I Am The Robot” dance brought up twice (one from Lynn trying to mock her, the other from Sheen, which annoys Jenny), but Jenny brings up the events after stopping Lola and Lana from fighting.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The items Jack gives Lincoln in Amity Park turn out to be ectoguns, which Lincoln uses while defending himself on the train.
    • Timmy's lightsaber from the opening party helps him defend himself from Clusters.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Lisa asks why a super intelligent android like Jenny is attending high school. Leni tries to give a smart response, saying that she’s there to learn.
  • Dead Fic: Originally was this from the "first trailer", until the author decided to re-write the whole story.
    • Also, while the story takes about a week or two to longer to update, the author states that he's trying his best to avoid this.
    • Now averted, as the whole story is COMPLETE.
  • Deus ex Machina: Many of them. In fact, characters literally pull objects out of their pockets that help them succeed at their current goal.
    • Lampshaded twice in the story. When Timmy defends himself from the Clusters, he pulls out his lightsaber from earlier, which leads Spongebob to ask if he really had them in his pockets the whole time.
      • Then there are the Breadwinners protagonists calling their van the “Sway Sway and Buhduce Ex Machina.
  • Noodle Incident: Apparently, Carl’s father got his whole family banned for life at a theme park. He also dislocated his pancreas there.
    • Heck, Carl is loaded with these throughout the story.
  • Take That!: The events of Planet Sheen are completely glanced over, for good reason.
Jimmy: Well then, let's just pretend that whole trip never happened.
"Oh please, the day I become jealous of you (Crocker) is the day something as nonsensical as ghosts saving the Earth from an asteroid happens."
    • The two Breadwinners protagonists themselves are portrayed as The Scrappy to the main heroes. Though they do help the characters get to their destination.
    • Plus, during the voyage in the rocket van, the heroes pass by the United Kingdom, where Cosmo remarks that the citizens are showing their love for the government. Cue the description of riots and violence.
    • After the toons escape the Cluster prison, Wanda lampshades about how pointless the whole scenario was, despite setting up the future. Then Cosmo remarks on how it’s just like a superhero movie. Since the writer has stated the MCU has influenced the story, this could be more of a jab towards the other infamous superhero universe.
    • Wanda gives the ultimate one to FOP's most infamous scrappy, when being chased with the others by a possessed Goddard.
"I hope we never get a crazy dog like that!"
    • According to Carl, the new Ultra Lord show is more wacky and comedy-oriented, with more sitcom style plots, and puts less focus on fighting evil, but has an unlikable protagonist, teaches terrible messages, and is overplayed on the network it’s airing on. Oh boy..
      • To add to this, Carl describes Sheen’s reaction as the same as "all the losers online who bash the show", which of course, is a jab at the infamous hatedom of that said show.
  • Tempting Fate: After Lincoln kicks Lola, who was practicing, out of the house, Clyde calls him out for it, and Lincoln responds by saying that Lola wins every pageant she’s in, and that he won’t ruin her streak. Yet, subverted with a Bait-and-Switch, since Lola still wins the pageant despite Lincoln destroying the entire thing.
    • Chet Ubetcha goes up a notch with this on his news broadcast to Dimmsdale, before the villains release a beam.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Danny gives one to Lincoln after getting tired of his lack of danger and reality.
"Are you even listening to me?! We're pushing you away because we're trying to save your life! How many times do I have to tell you this?! By the way, stop treating this as if it's some stupid comic book, because it isn't. Our enemies can't just easily be defeated! They want all of our heads on a platter and you don't realize that because you refuse to admit you're just a helpless kid who dragged himself into danger for no reason, and now is too afraid to admit he has no plan, or that he's scared!"
  • The Cameo: Mr. Blik, Gordon, and Waffle make one in chapter 32, and Rocko, Heffer and Filbert make one in Chapter 56.
  • This Is Reality: In the original chapter, Clyde tries to tell Lincoln this after he starts believing a comic book is real. Of course, the comic book is about Danny Phantom..
    • Then Danny himself tells Lincoln this.
  • Toilet Humour: Multiple jokes throughout the story, mostly coming from Lana.
You want ammunition? I got loads of my pets poop!
  • Took a Level in Badass: Lincoln, right up to blowing up an entire freakin’ alien prison.
    • Also, his sisters count to, most notably Lynn, who both takes on Clusters and ghosts.
  • Traintop Battle: Danny and Vlad in the Train Fight chapter.
  • Villain Decay: In-Universe. Mr. Crocker and Plankton are tired of attempting their plans every day, while Calamitous is afraid of returning to prison. Vlad calls them out on this, and motivates them back to their evil ways.

Part II contains example of:

  • Ascended Extra: Most of the Invader Zim heroes are this due to their show's early cancellation. Vega and Melody also get this treatment, going from minor characters in their home series to major heroes here.
  • Big Damn Heroes: While this happened in Part I, it's still evident in this story.
  • Break the Cutie:
    • Poor Tenn. She was sent to one of the hardest planets to conquer, got sent defective SIR units, got captured by the meekrob and then got put in the NCP arena and is forced to fight against robots or DIE.
    • Melody is another big example. She ran away from Earth to find a better home, only for Vexas to trick and mind-control her into becoming one of her weapons. Then she sacrifices herself to save Jenny and the planet. However, she does get her happy ending, as she is rebuilt by the team geniuses.
  • Bizarro Universe: The Reverse Universe, where the Nicktoons are one big family and the Louds are superheroes.
  • Brick Joke:
    • Manny brings up the adults constantly fearing the Chupacabra in his town. Then, everyone believes Sandy is the monster when she visits the city.
    • The Soda Gods.
  • Crapsack World: Zim's town as in canon.
  • Cassandra Truth: Lincoln
  • Character Development: Zim while not much, he does show better teamwork than in Hobo 13, he's still out for earth but he also actually feels a bit bad about Melody's Disney death.
  • Call-Back: Loads of them throughout the story.
    • Chapter 3 has the Space Bandits from Jimmy Neutron appear having normal jobs since their Heel–Face Turn. Also Tee opens the dress shop he imagined in Incredible Shrinking Town.
    • Chapter 4 has Patrick asking Spongebob to play Robots and Racehorses with Sandy saying they shouldn't play that game again, referring to the robot invasion.
      • And in chapter 13 a fish freaks out upon seeing Jenny, showing that the events of BFBB happened after Nick heroes one.
    • Lynn says that her football team is supposed to play against "nerds from Poly Tech", the same players who crushed Tremorton's football team in MLAATR's Grid-Iron Glory.
    • The title of Chapter 11? I Hate the Pill.
  • The Cameo: Crypto appears in the video game Lincoln and Clyde are playing before the sisters get abducted. Doubles as Actor Allusion, since Zim’s VA plays Pox in the series who appears later in the story. Then in Chapter 35 there are a ton! Rocko, Stimpy, Mr. Blik and Tak appear in the canon universe, Snap, Rudy, Penny appear in Chalkzone, and the second video game cameo with Ness, Lucas, Toon Link, Popo, Nana and Villager appearing in the Return of the toybots universe.
  • Demoted to Extra: Danny, due to being captured.
  • Enemy Mine: Black Cuervo briefly joins the group in Miracle City, but leaves after Timmy turns her into a duck, and Zim of course.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Even Zim, the same Irken who joined the journey to reclaim Earth again, and almost killed his teammates in Miracle City, is shocked by the evil Nicktoon universe.
  • Expy: Melody is one to the Masked Man/Claus from ''Mother 3; a person similar to the hero who gets brainwashed by the main villain for their own purpose, and even down to them dying.
  • Flash Back: Chapter one is one to the events of the first story.
  • Fantastic Racism: Jenny and Jimmy aren't too keen on having Zim on the team due to prior experiences...
  • Foreshadowing: A dark example after Jenny sees Zim still alive in Miracle City."I swear, if there's anybody who does a sacrifice by the end of this adventure, I will MAKE him a sacrifice!" Sadly, Jenny didn't expect her new friend.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Melody, though she does come back to life.
  • Imagine Spot: Lincoln has one in chapter 2.
  • Insufferable Genius: Zim and Jimmy to a lesser extent, which pretty much kick-starts their rivalry.
  • Mirror Universe: The Evil Universe in Chapter 35...
  • Mood Whiplash: Chapter 35 is funny and heartwarming then they hit the last universe...
    • Smytus and Zim's duel, where Smytus is close to finishing off Zim, only for "his oil pressure to be low", and both of them stop for food.
    • The friends are grieving immediately after finding out about Melody. Then Lucy offers Brad deals on caskets.
  • Secretly Selfish: Dib, the only reason he's with the team is to prove he isn't crazy,
  • Shout-Out: Lincoln’s opening imagine sequence is said to be based off of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
  • Take That!: Like the last story there are some to other Nicktoons:
    • In chapter 23 Sandy is shown going to the universes of Fanboy and Chum Chum, The Mighty B! and Sanjay and Craig, and immediately leaves.
    • Apparently, Lincoln refuses to talk about the events of "No Such Luck", "Brawl in the Family" and "One of the Boys".
    • Sheen questions the purpose of Melody's sacrifice if she'll just be brought back to life, asking what superhero does that.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech:
    • Pretty much all of "Ballad of Sheen-ity", with the main highlight being SpongeBob's to everyone on the team.
    • Then Jenny gives one to Vexus after she captures her.
So I guess taking all of those robots' power chips on Cluster Prime was free will! I guess controlling my best friend's girlfriend and turning her against me and my friends was free will too! You have no idea what free will is! Better yet, how can you say machines can do better in this universe? You and your army can't even defend yourselves, that you have to rely on using technology from other aliens! Face it, Vexas. You're not doing any machine a favor. You're just a hypocritical pile of bolts! In fact, you're just as, if not, more cruel and weak as what you believe are humans!
  • The Rival: Pretty much Jimmy with Zim.
  • Thousand-Yard Stare: All the heroes (except Gaz) get this after visiting the evil universe
  • Token Evil Teammate: Zim (who else!)
    • Also Manny, though he is more of the hero than villain for the story.
  • Totem Pole Trench: How Manny, Frida and Sheen get into the party.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Vexus gets one. At that point, she's outpowered by two robots, and relies on a machine to improve her strength. Then, when they try to stop the beam from destroying Earth, and after her entire Cluster army is defeated, she delivers this rant.
YOU IDIOTIC MACHINES! Why must you see me as the enemy?! All I wanted to do for both of you, and all of your kind, was liberate you from that wreck you consider a home! I could've given you a life of your own, away from all of that, but instead, you decided to be allies with these no-intelligent, good for nothing, selfish, paranoid scraps of NEANTHERTHALS! The same species who have dismantled and treated us as inferiors for decades! WHY WON'T YOU UNDERSTAND ANY OF THAT?!"

Part III contains example of:

  • Call-Back: Freakshow's fake face off with Danny repeats the climax of "Reality Trip", except with Timmy and the TUFF agents replacing the parents.
  • Downer Ending: Vicky, with the help of the Shapeshifter, successfully separates the team, and takes over the world. Though Lincoln does swear to go after her with the remaining team.
  • Take That!: The entire purpose for the cameo of Kid Danger and Captain Man, as both are portrayed as incompetent idiots.
    • Dudley guessing what Vicky did to Timmy.
"OH MY GOSH! SHE GAVE YOU THREE LIVE ACTION MOVIES?!"
    • Raphael's remark at Lynn:
Where'd you learn ninjutsu from? A book?
    • Mikey actually sings a song from the infamous Turtle Tunes special, only to immediately dislike it.
    • Ren & Stimpy’s “creator” is portrayed as a wild, crazy animal in a cage.

3.5 contains examples of:

  • Crapsack World:
    • The entire Earth has now become Vicky’s own playground for torturing kids.
    • The entirety of the bad future universe Jimmy and the others land in.
  • Heroic BSoD: Zim suffers a huge one after finding out the truth about his Tallest.

N-Force contains examples of:

  • The Cameo: Wander and Sylvia appear at the end of chapter 6 after the younger Louds get lost in their dimension.
  • Characterization Marches On: Gaz is now based on her characterization from Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus. As such, she's much more of a Jerk with a Heart of Gold compared to her borderline-murderous original counterpart.
  • Distaff Counterpart: The all-female Nicktoon team is designed to mirror their male counterparts, consisting of Sandy (SpongeBob), Sam (Danny), Tootie (Timmy) and Cindy (Jimmy)
  • Gendercide: What kicks off the plot. An unknown force is causing all the male characters to disappear, forcing the females to team up to save them.
  • Only Sane Woman: Sandy, who by dint of being the only one not either crushing or in a relationship with another character repeatedly has to keep Sam, Tootie and Cindy from arguing about their relationship problems.

Glob Attack contains examples of:

  • Ascended Extra: Patrick and Squidward play more active roles in the fic compared to the game, where they were little more than savable NPCs.
  • Demoted to Extra: Every single playable character from the original game barring SpongeBob himself is reduced to little more than a token mention, as most of them are off on their own adventures.
  • In Name Only: Is an extremely rough adaptation of Globs of Doom, to the point where the only similarities they have are featuring SpongeBob characters and slime.
