Kamen Rider Vitaz
is a Kamen Rider fanfic featuring the eponymous original Rider created by the author Myshiroyuki.
An android with the name Yukio Kikaido appears in the city to fight monsters called Viruses, men and women that are infected by nano-machines who transform into monsters without free will. Only the power of Kamen Rider Vitaz can defeat and cure the Viruses created by androids related to Yukio.

- Body Horror: For a moment, Shiho uses the Bat Virus to grow claws out of her fingernails to help Yukio when he's trapped by the Spider Virus. She gets better.
- Break Them by Talking: How Yukio's father defeats his son. By telling him that he isn't human and that his mother never loved him.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: the Singer Celebrity Viruses vs Kamen Rider Decade can nearly be called a challenge
- Darker and Edgier: Recent chapters seem to be heading this way, with the revelations of what exactly happened to Yukio and the others’ mother, Hana’s father turning out to be an accomplice, and Kenji seemingly having his own agenda that disregards Yukio.

- Elemental Powers: The Elemental Viruses given to the six siblings.

- Family Theme Naming: The six androids built by Yuki Kikaido have Yuki in their name. Their names being Yukio, Yukino, Yukiteru, Yukiko, Yukimaru, and Yukiya.
- Finishing Move: All of Yukio's finishing moves uses the Overcharge App and always has Lightning Rider attached to it.
- Good Parents: The mother of the six androids, Yuki Kikaido, according to Yukio. She programmed them to be capable of growing as people and refused to allow them to be weaponised.
- Hammerspace: Yukio summons objects larger than his smartphone by using its Apps.
- Hero-Worshipper: Hana sure loves Kamen Riders and anything else related to it.
- Hidden Depths: Yukio has a fear of being reminded that he isn't human and therefore has no real emotions.
- Insomnia Episode: At the start of the fanfic, Shiho is plagued by insomnia which is caused by the Bat Virus that had been injected into her.
- Mid-Season Upgrade: Mediz Neuro Form is created so that Kenji won’t be upstaged in his scheme by Yukio’s Chronic Hero Syndrome.
- Missing Mom: Yukio and his siblings lose their mother ,because of their father before the story begins.
- Multiform Balance: Yukio develops the powers of his siblings’ viruses as the fic goes on. So far, he has Overheat form, courtesy of Yukino, Overblow form, courtesy of Yukiko and Overharden Form, courtesy of Yukimaru.
- Mysterious Backer: When Yukio first arrived in town, he was sent his smartphone by an unknown person, who subsequently provides him with his form changes and abilities through irregular updates.
- Phlebotinum Rebel: As per tradition, Yukio is infected with the same kind of Viruses that he both fights and cures.
- Power Incontinence: Yukio’s first use of many of his form changes has some unexpected side effect, that his Mysterious Backer fixes offscreen.
- Overheat Form causes him to almost shut down from the heat being given off.
- Overharden Form turns him into a statue.
- Overblow Form has no issues with the power itself, but his first use of it lands him in a wall.
- A Rare Sentence: “When you blew up half my body, I think I experienced the type of conversation only two men fighting each other can have.”
- Shout-Out: The author is a big fan of Kamen Rider and makes shout-outs to OOO and Double, even having Kamen Rider Decade appear and help Yukio in a battle.
- Super-Speed: Thanks to a mutation of his virus, the Celebrity Virus has this power.
- The Virus: Nano-machines, that are injected into humans by one of Yukio's siblings, turns its host into a monster that is actually called a Virus. Defeating the monster isn't enough to get rid of it. Yukio or Kenji has to cure the Virus inside the host or else it will activate again.
- Transformation Trinket: Without his smartphone, Yukio can't transform into Kamen Rider Vitaz.
- Uncertain Doom: Two chapters end with Mediz ominously approaching infected victims, with the aftermath not shown or elaborated on.
- Unexplained Recovery: It’s not made clear how Yukio was restored from becoming a statue.
