This troper had the theme that plays in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team when you're having those dreams of Gardevoir/doing the character quiz in the beginning playing in her head for days.

No mention of the R/B/Y Surf theme, or its Japanese anime lyrics? Or the Game Corner song, especially the Diamond/Pearl remix thereof? Or the Oreburgh theme? All catchy as a Masterball.
Believe you me, I was a fan of Pokémon from the very beginning. But I had to add this tune from Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum ... OREBURGH CITY. When I listened to it for the first time, five seconds into it, I thought, "I LOVE THIS SONG." True story.
The original Red and Blue version had some pretty epic music, such as the Gym Leader Battle Theme and Gary's Theme. You know you started humming them before you even clicked on those links.

Not that the other two members of the Tao trio are sloppy in the musical department either - though they lack Kyurem's awesome slapped bass, the fire and lightning effects in Reshiram's and Zekrom's themes (respectively) add a particularly awesome twist to the whole thing.
Although it may be creepy, Lavender Town has one of the catchiest themes ever.
What? how come I don't see G/S/C Gym theme on here? Seriously, I thought this was epic when I was 9 years old. Plus it's reminiscent to the anime's gym battle theme.
I've gone through this whole list and I'm very disappointed in you people. No one's mentioned the main theme song at all?! You know, the opening song that plays on the title screen and/or intro of every single main game in the series? Were you guys thinking that the anime's English dub's original theme was the theme to the whole franchise?
