Drinking Game / Hot Ones

Go To

Take a shot - or, rather, eat a wing - for these standard Hot Ones running gags and motifs.

  • For the opening lines ("For First We Feast, I'm Sean Evans, and you're watching Hot Ones..."), raise a glass to Sean and take a sip.
  • For "Sriracha's no big deal" (seasons 1-3) and "Valentina's not a big deal" (season 4 onwards), take a shot (or have Sriracha/Valentina on something).
  • If Sean says "dude," take a shot.
  • If the guest compliments Sean on his research team, take a sip; if they do it tearfully while coughing, take a shot.
  • Take a shot if Sean says "I'm No Superhero" when a guest comments on him going for the milk.
  • Take a shot if Sean says "Careful Around Your Eyes" when a guest starts rubbing their face. Take a second one if they still get some hot sauce in their eyes.
  • If Sean gets the floor to rant about how much of a hard time he has eating hot wings every week, take a sip in sympathy.
  • If the guest is already having trouble by the third wing or earlier, take a sip; it's all downhill from here...
  • Take a shot if the celebrity in the hot seat is a Promoted Fanboy.
    • Take two if mention is made of the infamous Brett Baker and/or his Power Rankings.
  • Take a shot for if the celebrity is obviously a stoner/makes mention of being a stoner.
  • When you reach the Hot Ones sauce, take a shot if the celebrity takes the bait and plugs it; leave it be if it's eaten without comment.
  • Take a shot if the celebrity takes a lap.
    • Take two if they disrobe (Kevin Hart removing his hoodie, Bert Kreischer taking off his shirt, etc.).
  • Take a shot for any time P. Diddy comes into conversation (surprisingly frequent).
  • Take a shot for if the celebrity partakes in the extra dab.
    • Take two if they ask about, or at least notice Sean shaking the bottle beforehand.
    • If they refuse, pour one out and feel free to boo.
  • Take a shot if the celebrity pulls it together for the final plug. Take two if they're slobbering and barely coherent.
  • For the Johnny "Coco" Diaz episode, take a shot for every time he mentions jiu jitsu.
  • For the N.O.R.E. episode, take a shot for every time he mentions being a fan of the show or compliments Sean (not a good idea unless you want to be under the table).
  • For the Gordon Ramsay episode, take a shot every time Gordon swears. You're welcome to downgrade to normal drinks if you want to survive the first five minutes. note
    • Alternatively, take a shot every time Gordon takes out or uses a food item out of his bag to mitigate his spice level.
  • For season 14, where the contestants are playing from home thanks to the COVID-19 Pandemic, take a shot every time they go offscreen to either retrieve something to dull the pain that they didn't have ready, or otherwise deal with the spice off camera.
  • Toast if the guest gets through all ten wings without drinking any water or milk or using any other spice remedies.
