The story follows the dreams of the unnamed protagonist, whose gender is also left ambiguous. Said protagonist is very sickly, and has spent most of their time in a hospital. The only thing keeping them safe are those dreams, in which they relive memories of their life, but there are also dreams where someone is writing a letter to them, which gives them hope that they will one day be released.The story has no dialogue at all, and none of the characters have any names. Yes, there are other characters, but these characters exist only in the dream world, and there are only two others: A young boy and a young girl, both of which just follow the narrator around their dream world.Over time, the narrator learns all sorts of things about their past, but many things are still left unanswered. One day, the friend who keeps writing all those letters just disappears, with only a note stating, "GOOD-BYE".Well, okay, basically: It's a really weird story.
