Rupert: "Brown didn't kill the mayor, he didn't kill Merryweather, or Jane. He didn't rape Wyatt's wife, he didn't do any of that. I did. All of you were focused on bringing down Brown.. that you didn't realize the true perpetrator behind all of "his" actions. Didn't expect that now.. did you?"
Rupert Steinbech is a main character featuring in Blackwater. He is the masked antagonist of the majority of the first season, and stays as a main antagonist in the second and first half of the third season. He is the president ofof The Union Pacific Railroad. He controls the town of Blackwater from behind the scenes, using a multitude of henchmen and Barclay Brown as cover. He causes plenty of deaths and injuries throughout the series. note He is one of the prime examples of someone who falls under the Chaotic Evil alignment.
