Madeline Kahn (September 29, 1942 — December 3, 1999) was an actress and comedienne who is best known for her collaborations with Mel Brooks
. She's been nominated for several Oscar and Tony awards, but only won one (for The Sisters Rosensweig
). She's also done voice work and collaborated repeatedly with Gene Wilder
, Cloris Leachman, and The Muppets
, among others, and was a proud member of Mel Brooks
