Dick Shawn (born Richard Schulefand; December 1, 1923 - April 17, 1987) was an American actor and comedian best known for It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), The Producers (1967), and Angel (1984).
He was married to Rita Bachner and they had four children. His daughter Wendy is married to Joey Travolta.
Shawn died in 1987 at the age of 63 from a heart attack.
