• All of the characters in 2Dark swear like sailors, especially Smith, bitch.
• 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, which actually has a dedicated swear button. And you can even upgrade your swearing!
• Afro Samurai is a M-rated game (based on the manga/anime series of the same name, naturally) with Samuel L. Jackson as a fucking voice actor. Granted, the titular character doesn't do a lot of fucking swearing, but Ninja Ninja certainly does. The mooks like to get in on it too.
• This is perhaps the most Tarantino-y aspect of ATOM GRRRL!!. It's jarring considering how cutesy some of the character designs are to read them casually go off into tirades of F-bombs.
• Atomic Bomberman has a handful of unused voice clips... including incredibly filthy ones. A comprehensive list can be found here.
• You can get literal in Azur Lane: equipping max level break dive bomber specialists (2 dive bomber slots with +2 dive bomber launch per slot for a total of 6 planes launched per strike) CV with 2 Ju-87 (which can drop 5 bombs per plane), a fighter-bomber with 2 bombs (and they will launch 2 fighters per strike), Kizuna AI plane skins (which change the bomb graphics to Kizuna's "Fakkyu!" line) can result in you dropping 34 F-bombs on enemies per strike.
  • There is a story moment where KMS Scharnhorst gets shelled by HMS Duke of York. The girl was a Trash Talker before, so getting hit causes her to start channeling Gunnery Sergeant Hartman:
    Scharnhorst: Who did that?! Who the HELL did that?! Who's the slimy little crumpet-munching island ape bastard out there who just signed her own death warrant!?
• From Bayonetta, we have Enzo, Rodin, and Luka.
• There's (an almost certainly unintentional) one in, of all games, Bejeweled — at one point, the background music sounds like someone singing "fucking war-cow, fucking fucking war-cow, cow..."
• BioShock 2 has one of the male Splicer models yell out entire salvos of Cluster F-Bombs as his Enemy Chatter, and one of the female models (the upper-class woman) is also, but not nearly as, foul-mouthed. Other random Splicers and named NPCs moderate their language noticeably well in comparison.
• In the Loyalty story of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, Hazama drops a cluster S-bomb when Hakumen evacuates a paralyzed Tager from right in front of him.
  Shit! Shit shit SHIT! Hakumen, you are a real thorn in my side...! Ugh. Whatever. I've got more important work to do.
• From Borderlands 2 there's MISTER. TORGUE. Luckily, his company's shareholders realized the fallout of Mister Torgue's constant swearadio advertisements, so they installed a voicebox implant that bleeps out every basic swear word. Unfortunately for said shareholders, the implant does not give Mister Torgue a punishing electrical shock to slow the swearing, nor does it deal with religious swearing. It's hilarious.
• Brütal Legend has a gem in the intro movie, right after it asks you whether or not you'd like to enable profanity.
  Eddie: I told you not to climb on that, you stupid mother fucking piece of shit!
• Bulletstorm is known for two things: violently creative ways to kill enemies, and an overabundance of swearing. The game designers did not speak English, so they never realized that they were using swearing as mundane speech, and the main characters using swearing as a fluent language is now a core feature of the game.
• Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts features much more swearing than the original game. The British say "wanker" a lot, and the Germans use such colorful expressions as "Leck mich im Arsch" (also the title of a composition by Mozart which your school music teacher probably didn't teach you) and "Hurensöhne".
• In Conker's Bad Fur Day, "fuck" is the only word that is censored. All others are said loud without problems.
• Mondo Owada of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is so prone to saying this a lot, even more so when it's not fully-voiced dialogue. Other characters only say this when they start to get very pressured about current events.
• If Ryan is chosen as the protagonist in Dead Island 2, he will respond to the blood pouring from his impalement by cursing "fuck" eight times in 3 seconds.
• In Dead Space 2, Isaac Clarke (who now speaks) will let out a string of curses if you make him stomp repeatedly.
• The first boss of DmC: Devil May Cry, the incredibly grotesque Succubus, is introduced this way, seemingly adding a curse to every other word.
  Succubus: You want to kill me? You can't kill me! I'm twelve hundred years old!
  Dante: You don't look a day over twelve thousand.
  Succubus: Fuck you!
  Dante: Fuck you!
  Succubus: FUCK YOUUUUUU! [Discontent vomiting]
• Everyone cusses in Devil's Hunt, but Embry notably goes "Whatthefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefuck" after seeing Desmond Back from the Dead in his apartment, barely a week after the funeral.
• When the protagonist of Double Homework realizes that his plan with Dr. Mosely to counter Dennis’s blackmail is going up in smoke, the next few slides show several backgrounds, each with the same one-word caption: “Fuck.”
• In the Dragon Age: Origins DLC Leliana's Song, Big Bad Commander Raleigh lets loose a string of curses right before you fight him.
  Raleigh: You...you bloody, no good bitch-born Orlesian WHORE!!!
• In a game that has a fair amount of profanity, it's something of a surprise that one of the most vulgar characters in Fallout 3 is the child mayor of the kids-only city Little Lamplight.
  • Desmond Lockheart, the ghoul inhabiting Calvert Mansion in the Point Lookout add-on, drops the F-bomb in every other sentence.
  • The Pitt Raiders swear a lot more than their Wasteland counterparts. "Tear you the fuck apart!" instead of "Tear 'em apart!", for example.
• Fallout: New Vegas:
  • Cass. The most foul-mouthed companion, she says "fuck" 43 times out of all the dialogue options. Her opinion on the NCR is they're stretching their dick out longer than Long-Dick Johnson^note And he had a fucking long dick. Thus, the name. Her opinion of Benny is that he's a "slippery fucker" and that she's glad that you iced him.
  • In the same game, Boxcars, the crippled Powder Ganger in Nipton. If you're vilified with the Powder Gangers, he manages to fit "fuck" into nearly every line of dialogue, sometimes multiple times.
• Colonel Vanek, the main villain from F.E.A.R. 2 is prone to this. His last words are a long string of swears.
  • Lt. Stokes also doesn't give a fuck what people think about her language.
• Though the F-word is notably absent, both Cid and Barret from Final Fantasy VII deserve mention, especially Cid. One of his first scenes contains the memorable line "SIT YOUR ASS IN THAT CHAIR AND DRINK YOUR GODDAMN TEA!" and his reaction to seeing the apparently M.C. Escher-inspired Temple of the Ancients is, "Shit! Shit! Shit! What the hell's with this place?"
  • Also: "Hold on to your drawers, an' don't piss in 'em!"
  • Considering the game is T, and it uses profanity of varying degrees VERY liberally, it should be in a trope of its own. Most notably, it seems that Barrett drops the F-Bomb every ten minutes, and it's BLEEPED OUT WITH RANDOM SYLLABLES!
  • A crowning moment of cursing comes from the flashback about Cid's original launch attempt into space. Right when the launch is about to happen, he leaps out a huge, uncensored "SHIIIIIIIIIT" before aborting the launch to save Shera. Not a humorous moment, but it is probably the best example of the cursing the game involves.
• In Fredbear and Friends, Thomas starts dropping the f-bombs by the dozen once he realizes just what situation he's found himself in.
• Delta squad is your house, bitch! You hear that shit? You grubby-ass bitches are goin' down! Like way down-dead down, so down you ain't even gonna know which way is up! Your asses are gonna be cryin' to your skank-ass queen, 'Oh, mommy, don't let the bad man hurt us!' Fuck you! We're gonna whup your mamma's ass. Whoo-!
• The characters in Ghost Recon Wildlands are not shy about this. Just one example is a laconic briefing Nomad gives.
  Nomad: We go into the fucking cartel's casino, fuck their shit up and send a message we're on their ass.
• Gabriel Knight in the first game Sins of the Fathers was the first game to use the word "Fuck" uncensored. When Gabriel visits a young man named Crash dying in the church if the player chooses Himself he will respond
  Crash: I'm sick! Dying! Eating the big enchilada! What the fuck else matters?
• Grand Theft Auto:
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was the first GTA game to make use of F-bombs, and dropped them at every available opportunity. One gaming magazine retrospective complained that it made the characters sound less like badass gangstas and more like twelve-year-olds out of adult earshot.
    • 365 times, to be exact. And that's not including pedestrian dialog & radio.
    • People who find the swearing in San Andreas unrealistic have never lived in southern California gangland. Or any low-income area, for that matter.
  • The original Grand Theft Auto had a 'special' file which contained the same dialogue text, but with the profanity cranked up to eleven. To name a couple of examples, "Move your sorry butt before it blows!" became "Move your fuckin' ass before it blows!", and "That'll teach the bald man a lesson" became "That'll teach the baldy fuck a lesson".
  • Grand Theft Auto IV also took it up to eleven, where the F-bomb is dropped 767 times!
  • Grand Theft Auto V takes it even further, with over one thousand instances of the f-bomb in just the main missions, with a little over 30 in the introductory mission alone.
    Trevor Philips when killing Johnny Klebitz: WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU SPEAKING TO?! WHO?! WHO?! I'M TALKIN' TO YOU, HUH?! YOU FUCK! NEXT TIME, DON'T GET IN MY FUCKIN' FACE! I JUST SAW A FUCKIN' GHOST AND I GOTTA HEAR YOUR CRAP?! GET UP! GET UP!! FUCK YOU, THEN!
• In the Aksys Games English translation of Hakuouki, Hijikata Toshizo's rude and aggressive manner of speech is conveyed by liberal use of profanity, including a couple of heavily F-bomb-laced rants when he hits the Rage Breaking Point.
• The House of the Dead: OVERKILL has the character of Isaac Washington, who averages about one swear word per sentence (his first line, also the first voiced dialogue in the game, being "What's up, motherfucker?!"). Ironically, the only time he doesn't call someone that is when he confronts an actual motherfucker. It is the first game ever to win a Guinness World Record in video games for this trope. • In I Was a Teenage Exocolonist: Sol's narration shouts a string of expletives as they let Vace test the stungloves on them.
  Holy - shit-snacking - arsehole-shitting - mother-of-GODDAMN-pearl, it hurts WAY more than you'd expect!
• There's a reason Jet Set Radio Future got a Teen rating for "Strong Lyrics". Listen to Rockin' the Mic and you'll see why.
• The characters, especially the main protagonists, in Kane & Lynch have a very frequent tendency to do this, although the increasingly chaotic situations they land themselves in don't leave much else to say.
  • The multiplayer announcer tends to drop these, especially by spamming "fucking traitor, make him pay" after every friendly-fire kill, which happens often in the game.
• Killer7 is pretty light on profanity for the most part, but going on a killing spree with Con or Coyote will result in this.
  • Specifically, hitting an enemy's weak point with Coyote will cause him to say "You're fucked!" each time.
• One of the admins of Kingdom of Loathing, Mr. Skullhead, had a truly epic example when people started whining after Crimbo 2008.
• Kingpin: Life of Crime. The game was just an excuse to use fuck as many times as possible.
  • The swear density was so ridiculously high in this game that it made Scarface (1983) look tame in comparison. Fuck you fuck!
• In the visual novel Kira☆Kira, one scene features the main characters 'learning how to swear', as they're trying to become punk rockers and punk rockers swear a lot.
  • Naturally, this leads to hilarious situations with improper use of the word, made even funnier by the awkward Japanese pronunciation:
    (While working in a restaurant:)
    Maejima: Yo, have you decided what the fuck you're going to order?
    Kirari (smiling innocently): So this mother fucker customer wants a fuckin' beer, right?
    Manager: What are you saying?
    Maejima and Kirari: Nothing! Fuck off!
• The Last of Us takes advantage of the M rating. Ellie's fuck tape.
• Lollipop Chainsaw has lots of swearing, but seeing as how it's from the creators of No More Heroes, this isn't surprising. Special mention goes to Zed, the first boss. He can use the words he says as attacks, with giant letters aimed at Juliet. Most of the time, it's profane.
• In The Longest Journey there is a character named "The Flipper" who averages 2-3 swear words per sentence, even introducing himself as "The Fucking Flipper" at one point.
• MadWorld is full of f-bombs.
  • The Black Baron (stop starin') is all about this. His memorable pre-Bloodbath Challenge tirades almost always use "fuck" and other such swears. An example, of Money Shot II:
    The Black Baron: And the Black Motherfucking Baron is gonna be a pimp to teach yo' ass! The rules are simpler than turning out an ugly, broke-ass college girl from Kansas: just pop corks in some marks and send 'em flyin' sky high. Except the bitches you gonna be poppin' corks in ain't gonna mind, 'cause they alien asses used to be space cadets, y'know wha' I mean? ...baby, baby, you wanna money shot yourself, don'cha? Ha, ha...all right, folks, she don't talk too much, but she is just some freaky shit, lemme tell ya. She could take a pop! ...baby, tell 'em who lays the muthafuckin' money down! (bottle being rammed down his throat) Aw, HELL naw! (SPLUT)
• Mafia II has been given a Guinness world record for the most uses of 'fuck' in a video game. The amount? Well, they stopped counting at 200, but they requested a game script for a final tally. A more recent, proper count was made and there were a total of 380 uses of 'fuck' in the game. Being a World War II game with Stealth Pun also helps.
• In the Japanese dubs of Magical Drop II, III, and V, Chariot is prone to shouting "KUSO!" (which roughly translates to "damn" or "shit") whenever his opponent attacks him. In the hands of a bad player or AI, Chariot becomes quite the pottymouth.
• In Mass Effect 2, when you take control of Joker while the Normandy is overrun with Collectors, half his dialogue during the sequence is repetitions of "shit!". In the same game, party member Jack is known for her potty mouth.
  • In Mass Effect 3, Jack is a teacher if she survives the events of 2, and makes an effort to watch her language around the kids. Joker teases that her swear jar could fund the war effort by itself. At which point, Jack tells her students to cover their ears and lets loose with months of saved-up swears at him... presumably. The scene cuts away at that moment. By the Citadel DLC, she's completely back in form.
• The first two Max Payne games feature a mob boss named Vinnie Gognitti. His life seems to be powered by this trope. The first game is largely non-profane, with the biggest examples being the word 'Bullshit' once by Max, and 'screwing', quite frequently, by Vinnie. In the sequel, Vinni is a regular Joe Pesci.
• The game Metal Arms: Glitch in the System has a character named Krunk, a robot who looks like a potbellied war vet, and because all the characters are robots, has a censor bleep. For example, "Of course I f***ing fixed him. It was a huge pain in the f***ing wastepan, 'cuz he's some kind of custom jobbie!" He's also playable for one level, and curses whenever you're shot or if you die.
• The Metal Gear series was always fairly conservative when it came to four-lettered words, with only one utterance of the word "fuck" in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots... then came Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, where F-bombs became as plentiful as the cyborgs in the game. Steven Armstrong easily takes the cake as the most foul-mouthed character in not only the game but the entire series!
  Steven Armstrong: Where every man is free to think - to act - for himself! Fuck all these limp-dick lawyers and chickenshit bureaucrats. Fuck this 24/7 Internet spew of trivia and celebrity bullshit. Fuck American pride. Fuck the media! FUCK ALL OF IT!
• Mortal Kombat
  • The franchise is usually just over-the-top gorn, but the spinoff Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks has an Easter Egg for Scorpion's spear attack. Randomly he'll shout "Get over here bitch!" and "Get the fuck over here!"
  • This changes in Mortal Kombat X, Mortal Kombat 11, and Mortal Kombat 1 however, where there's more cussing than all the rest of the franchise combined. Right now, Cassie seems to be the character with the dirtiest mouth, (including saying "Fuck" more than anyone else does). Of course, she is in the military.
• Mutant Football League sometimes has Grim Blitzro and "Brickhead" Mulligan Waxing Lyrical of Talking Heads after a Quarterback Kill dirty trick.
  Grim: If he were still alive, he'd say "Psycho Killer qu'est-ce que c'est What the fuck-fuck-fuck-ka-FUCK!?"
• Kainé from NieR has a particularly foul mouth, as often commented on by the other characters. One particularly memorable rant is replayed in the introductory sequence every time you turn the game on.
  Weiss, you dumbass! Start making sense, you rotten book, or you're gonna be sorry! Maybe I'll rip your pages out one-by-one, or maybe I'll put you in the Goddamn furnace! How can someone with such a big, smart brain get hypnotized like a little bitch, huh?! Oh, Shadowlord! I love you, Shadowlord! Come over here and give Weiss a big sloppy kiss, Shadowlord! Now pull your head out of your Goddamn ass and START FUCKING HELPING US!
• No More Heroes:
  • The first words spoken by the main character Travis Touchdown are a rousing shout of "Fuckheads!" as he decapitates several guards. You can do more of the same during the rest of the game.
  • "That's fucked up! That's the stupidest rule I've ever heard! This guy's mine, and you want me to just let him go? Bitch?! Whatever, but this dude says he wants to fight, and ain't nothing gonna stop him. This ass clown right here is— Hey! He's gone! Mister Sir Henry Motherfucker, he just jetted! What a pussy!" (said right after Henry kills Letz Shake before Travis gets his shot)
• No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle: The battle between Travis and Skelter Helter is mostly a swapping of constant "FUCK YOU!"s.
• No More Heroes III: Big Bad FU has a very foul mouth, as a result of being short-tempered and impatient. It makes his nickname (the real name is Jean Baptiste VI) all the more fitting.
• PAYDAY 2 has many F-bombs, mostly from Hoxton, who's been in a perpetual bad mood since his stint in prison. Other frequent offenders include Bonnie, Rust, and Jimmy.
• PAYDAY: The Heist has a ton of F-bombs being dropped during the assault waves from the cops, ranging from "OH SHIT! IT'S A MOTHERFUCKING BULLDOZER!" to "Stay the FUCK down! And don't you FUCKING move!"
• Phantom Doctrine is generally light on the swearing, but male agents with the "Profane" voice type swear nearly every time that you select them. If you don't like it, you can change their voice type. If you do like it, then you can make all the men talk that way.
  Fuck! It's the fucking boss!
  Leave me the fuck alone!
• Police Quest 4: Open Season was the first Sierra title to make use of F-Bombs. In the game, there's a character named Dennis Walker in the apartment who uses the word if you ask him about the music, touch his stuff, or you show him items from your inventory. If asked about the Music playing in his apartment, Dennis Walker will reply with this:
  Dennis Walker: It's from the Fatherlands, It's my fucking favorite!
• Dana Mercer in [PROTOTYPE] does this a lot, even before the player first meets her: her very first line is "Fuckin' goose-stepping mother-fuckers!" The Blackwatch soldier capturing her — and Blackwatch are hardly the most delicate speakers in the game — is downright shocked.
  • In the sequel, many characters swear. But the player character, James Heller, is the most foul-mouthed of all of them. Lampshaded by Alex Mercer.
    Mercer: You're a very crude person, aren't you?
• Originally, Raven's Cry had a pirate crew member who constantly shouted "Be brave" followed by a random obscenity during cannon battles. This was removed in a patch, presumably because of how narmy it was.
• In one very memorable sequence in Red Dead Redemption, the main character John Marston joins in on a poker game between Landon Ricketts, a couple of Mexicans, and a German. When a few hands go Marston's way, the German, Muller, falsely accuses Marston of looking at his cards and is none too happy:
  Muller: You fucking cheat! You fucking looked at my fucking cards, you fucking cheat! There is no mistake, your Yankee friend here is a fucking cheat.
  • One random dialogue has this gem:
    Shaky: F-f-f-f-fucking f-f-f-fuck!
    Irish: Oh, my virgin ears.
• The "cuss pack" DLC for Redneck Rampage.
• The Rogue Warrior game outdoes the novels. Hearing Richard Marcinko/Mickey Rourke rapping about how much of a motherfucking badass SEAL he is just given the icing on the cake. As shown by Giant Bomb, who get into the mood.
• In Scarface: The World Is Yours, Tony fucking Montana comes close to the usage in the film once he enters blind rage. Also, if you die, the game tells you, "You fucked up". And when your wanted meter fills up? "You're fucked."
• The protagonist of Silent Hill: Homecoming, Alex Shepherd, swears a lot more than others when he faces some disgusting monsters.
• Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion: One of the chat logs has Pearl explaining that she once wrote a song called "#$@%* Dudes Be #$@%* Sleepin'", which could not be played on the radio for, as Marina says, "obvious reasons". A demo of it exists in-game, featuring Sound Effect Bleeps.
• The Suffering uses all Seven Dirty Words in the first three minutes of the game. And it only gets more profane from there.
• Parodied in the "Meet the Demoman" trailer for Team Fortress 2, where the Demoman mutters drunkenly about his problems, and a long section is beeped out.
• Mike from Until Dawn usually doesn't swear more than any person, but he does tend to drop lots of F-bombs when he's scared out of his wits.
• There are lots and lots of swearing in the Vietcong games. Especially from the Americans/ANZACs.
• The Walking Dead (Telltale):
  • Kenny lets loose in Season 1, Episode 3 when the train comes upon the fuel truck blocking the tracks. He says the f-word five times, with the last one being drawn out. He even lets one out at Ben when he suggests they could walk.
  • Jerry lets a cluster loose at Marcus on the prison bus in Vince's Story in 400 Days.
  • Brody can't stop swearing at Clementine when she learns the man Clementine encountered may have followed her in Season 4, Episode 1.
  • In Season 4 Episode 2, if Clem allows AJ to say "fuck", he will say one long sentence filled with the word. If Clem allows him to use "shit" only, he will say a similarly long sentence.
  • In Season 4 Episode 4, Clementine she can say "Great, we're totally fucking fucked!".
• The Witcher is quite generous with its swearing. But then there's also Thaler, who starts dropping cluster F-bombs as soon as he opens his mouth.
  • In the sequel, a prisoner delivers a truly epic Cluster F-Bomb that loses something in translation, but approximates to "You son of a bitch! Fucking prick! Fuck you, fucker! Fuck you up the arse! Fucking motherfucker, fuck you, you hear?"^note "Ty kurwi synu! Chuju jebany! Pierdol się, pojebie! Chuj ci w rzyć! Matkojebco chędożony, zajebe cię, słyszysz?"
  • Thaler reappears in Witcher III, teaching trolls (who barely speak English to begin with) how to swear when you first meet him.
• "Fuck you, Kazuma" is pretty much Yakuza's catchphrase in the English dub. The later games tone this down significantly with the later remakes and remasters toning it down even further.
