!!Hoaxer Coaxer

A boss Yo-Kai from ''Yo-Kai Watch 3'', Hoaxer Coaxer wants nothing more than to make everyone's daydreams come true... by luring them into an illusory world where their dreams come to life, but at the cost of preventing them from returning to reality.

* LotusEaterMachine: His entire schtick; he creates an illusory world where anyone can live out their wildest fantasies, but has no intention of allowing them to leave. His Soultimate, Fool's Paradise, invokes this further, by creating the scenery of an idyllic flower field, which is only a ruse to let his foes guard down; any unfortunate sap who falls for it gets a nasty surprise as Hoaxer Coaxer gives them a nasty series of bites.

* YourMindMakesItReal: On occasion, he'll think up a thought bubble with the image of a train. Eventually it'll manifest as an actual train that runs down an entire row of the battle field, though attacking the thought bubble can weaken the attack and delay it.

* PunnyName: While Slackerjack alludes to his jester-like appearance and his desire to slack off and avoid work, his entire arc is dedicated to the phrase: "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, but all play and no work makes Jack a mere toy". Hailey has to point out that while a non-stop lifestyle of play sounds good, it would turn the kids into good-for-nothings who wouldn't be able to contribute to society.
* Shout-Out: He's basically like the ''Pied Piper of Hamilin'', using his flute to lure children away, and he can even manipulate the positioning of the player's Yo-Kai.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: He just wants to give kids a lifestyle of non-stop playtime, but stops once Hailey points out that would just make the kids a "waste of space" as she puts it.

A jester-like Yo-Kai from ''Yo-Kai Watch 3'', he fashions himself as a "teacher" who wants little kids to play all the time, using a magical flute to hypnotizing them into following him and taking them to a place where adults won't find them so they can play non-stop.

* HeelFaceTurn: All of them can be found in the post game of Psychic Spectres. They each explain their connection to Dedtime and mellow out a bit upon hearing she's been purified. However, they want to gauge Nates strength and each become a potentially recruitable BonusBoss.

* BonusBoss: The entire set of requests asked out of you to prepare for the party are optional, but make no mistake, he can hit you ''very'' hard.
* FeatheredFiend : An anthropomorphic sparrow.

* BonusBoss: The twist being that they actively seek ''you'' out in Terror Time.

* BonusBoss: Kat Kraydel can only be fought after reaching the end of the Divine Paradise, and she's one of the toughest bosses in ''Yo-Kai Watch 2''.

* ShesAManInJapan: In original version, Ayatori-sama appears to be male. However, in the localized version, Kat Kraydel is referred to as female.
* WalkingSpoiler: It's about Divine Paradise-related in post game.

* BonusBoss: He's a postgame boss that can be fought in ''Psychic Specters'' at the end of the Gera Gera Resort questline. Fittingly, he's quite hardy, hits very hard, can inspirit entire rows of Yo-Kai, and can utterly decimate an unprepared party.

* LuckyTranslation: She is one of the few Yo-kai whose PunnyName works in both English and Japanese.

A legendary Yo-Kai who is apparently Jibanyan's ancestor.

The second legendary Yo-Kai that Nate summons. He was once an attractive man until he was crushed under wooden planks next to a pink toy poodle. His powers come from his good looks, and he can give those good looks to those he inspirits.

* ShownTheirWork: Salamanders in mythology, were considered poisonous and deadly monsters that could live in the hottest, fieriest enviornments; hence, Slimamander's flame breathing ability and [[spoiler: Eyedra living within Infinite Inferno/ Hell.]]

[[spoiler: In the Infinite Inferno, he has a worse counterpart called Hoggles, who boiled other Yo-Kai and drank the broth to gain his power.]]

* FatBastard: Sproink is quite large and unreasonable, resulting in the protagonist having to take him on in a fight. [[spoiler:Hoggles is said to be even worse, what with the boiling other Yo-Kai and drinking the broth to become more powerful.]]

[[spoiler:His counterpart in the Infinite Inferno is Styx Mk. VI, a Yo-Kai that fishes the souls of sinners out of the River Styx.]]

* NothingIsScarier: His defining character trait, flavor text has him loom behind people, and should they turn around to see what casts such a big shadow, they disappear and fade from everyone's minds. [[spoiler: Clipso is just as bad, if not worse, stealing children who stay up too late.]] He's so unsettling, he is the image on the series' NightmareFuel page.

* PunnyName: Massive face and [[spoiler: eclipse]].

[[spoiler: Spooklunk, its Infinite Inferno counterpart, was once a strong warrior, gathering vassals, and waiting for the day it can return to battle.]]

[[spoiler: His Infinite Inferno counterpart is Dr. Nogut, another mad doctor who seeks to create the perfect Yo-Kai. To do this he tries to combine humans who fall into the inferno with other Yo-Kai.]]

* BodyHorror: Maddiman's heart is external, and hooked up to a drip which he puts beating hearts into to heal himself. [[spoiler: Nogut invokes this on his human and Yo-Kai test subjects by combining them, and has literally used his own guts in an experiment.]]

* GreaterScopeParagon: He is the creator of the Yo-Kai Watch itself, making him the catalyst for the entire series, as had he not created it, very few of the events in the series would’ve happened.

* AnchorsAway: His WeaponOfChoice.

* KillerRabbit: It certainly is kind of goofy-looking, just a giant black thing in a huge pot, then it begins growling at you with is UncannyValley mouth, spewing toxic vapors, shooting lasers, and summoning comets of dark energy.

* AwesomeMcCoolName: Phantasamurai and [[spoiler: Spooklunk's Japanese name, which translates to ''National Treasure Shadow Sword''.]]

* ThePoweroftheSun: He’s a god who can use the power of the sun and can even create his own one as shown in his soultimate animation.

The current reigning monarch of the Yo-kai World, the grandson of the previous Lord Enma, and the nephew of Lucas. He shows great interest in humans and supports both humans and Yo-kai joining hands as friends.
In the 2.0 update ‘’Yo-kai Watch 3’’ he gains a new form called Lord Enma Awoken which can be obtained if the player links all three versions.

* AnimalMotif: Dragons and bulls, to go with his power, desire to destroy and position as TheDragon
* AntiClimaxBoss: He's touted as the best of the Wicked, and is strong, but since he has no specialty, he tends to go down the fastest comparitively out of the Elites

* BaldOfEvil: though, literal wisps of hair wave around on the sides of his head.

* {{Gonk}}: Lessee...BlackEyesOfEvil with red irises, garlic-shaped nose with flaring nostrils, and a permanent snarl with a set of blue teeth set in purple gums..

* BreathWeapon: Breathes fire out of his nose. In the game, he does it when he soaks in the Hot Springs too long or when he gets upset. in the Anime , since he doesn't have an affect on people in the games, he uses it to make the bath ''unbearably'' hot for everyone except him.

* MultipleHeadCase: the rare version that serves a function to its host. Slimamander's Eyeball is its weak-spot, so to work around this, the single eye is able to switch between different heads.

* SealedGoodinaCan: In the sidequest “Enma Note Part. 2” [[spoiler:he is apparently sealed in the Enma Blade and the current Lord Enma must battle him in order to prove that he is worthy of wielding the Enma Blade.]]
