    Alice Bellamy

Alice Bellamy, possessed by Alcibiades, played by Darksidevoid

Age:
Grade:
Years at School:

Born in the U.K. to a pair of nouveau riche workaholics, Alice spent the majority of her life at a private British boarding school until a wisp decided to very rudely collide with her skull about eight months ago. Thankfully, nobody else had been around to witness the event, and she rapidly set about concealing the floaty thing's existence. Although she had only ever put the minimum amount of effort into her schoolwork before that point, her grades in the mandatory Classics classes suddenly skyrocketed. Unfortunately, her marks in every other subject began to decline even further, she began skipping classes even more often than she usually did, and she increasingly got into violent fights with certain other members of the student body, which ultimately resulted in her being expelled before the end of her final year. Refusing to go to another school, she has instead spent the last five months or so being a shut-in and using her tactical and strategic knowledge to go forth and conquer various competitive RTS games. Sadly for her budding new career and small degree of internet celebrity, her parents finally uncovered the fact that she was a magical girl last month, and made arrangements to ship her off without telling her for the sake of "curing her idleness". Although she was reluctant to go at first, she guesses it might be fun to meet some other magical girls. Maybe.

Ashley Morgan, possessed by Henry Morgan, played by Nman

A girl who grew up in Florida and loved sailing with her family all across the Caribbean. Her need for speed led to her joyriding with quite a few boats. Then she got smacked in the face by a magical wisp thing and she went to Atlantis to go have the greatest adventure yet. Which is great because the place is like a giant boat. Except for the part where it's not.

Her wisp is a tiny little pirate ship that fits in your hands called the Satisfaction. Don't get her angry.

Erica M. Farragut, possessed by Admiral David Farragut, played by Parable

Age: 15
Grade: Sophomore
Years at School: 2
Roommate: Hope

Born and raised in Middle-of-Nowhere, USA, Erica did not let her uneventful location prevent her from having fun. She was a very active child and delighted in exploring and going places she probably wasn't supposed to be. As she got older she had trouble keeping her mouth shut, and was very competitive in just about everything, be it sports, video games, or even academics. That last one never turned out well as Erica struggled to remain even a C student. No stranger to crashing into things, Erica was surprised one day when she was the one getting crashed into by a Wisp. After that things changed, starting with memories of Civil War engagements. Not that she immediately realized they were Civil War engagements, history wasn't her strong point. But one thing that stuck in her mind was a strong voice shouting, "Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!"

She eventually figured out she had gotten the spirit of Admiral David Farragut, naval hero of the Civil War. Naturally Erika was ecstatic to discover she could transform and had other magical abilities. Her parents, while happy for their child, were also concerned about what she would get herself into and jumped at the opportunity to send her to the school off of California.

Age: 17
Grade: Junior
Years at School: 3
Roommate: Hannah

Giz was 14 and on a family vacation to Rome when the wisp she'd eventually dub Stilicho chose her, much to her parents' alarm. Giz was one of the first wave of girls to be given powers and subsequently taken to the new school, where she has been for nearly three years now. Alaric's memories mostly remain on a subconscious level within her, so she doesn't mind them much. At least, not nearly so much as she minds being passed over for leadership positions.

A girl from Spain. Always a rowdy tomboyish kid, Hannah excelled in getting into miscellaneous mischief. Then one day, she got hit in the face with a magic floating monster and moved to the training school. Julia led an average life, with average parents, and average grades. She had a small circle of friends, prefering to be alone. Living in Washington state (America), Julia loved to take walks alone, just like she did everything else. Alone. That's when the wisp hit her. Her friends noticed an immediate change in personality, her grades skyrocketed, she started sleeping badly, frequently having nightmares, and growing yet more distant. Her parents were the only people who she shared her dreams with, and the fact that a wisp hit her. Her first transformation was on her way home from school, when she was 12.     Magda von Richthofen

Magda von Richthofen, possessed by the Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen, played by Karrin Blue

Age: 16
Grade:
Years at School:
Roommate: Maya

Magda was a British (her family immigrated a couple decades ago.) schoolgirl from a middle-of-nowhere town. She was raised to be a polite English Rose-type, and while she mostly was she also ended up with a competitive streak a mile wide. Mostly this manifested in her taking up fencing, and she was finishing practice one day when a small, bright red armor-flower-bird-thing rammed into her head, and after she recovered from the minor concussion she had the memories of the Red Baron. This made things slightly awkward with her WW 2-veteran grandfather (even though von Richthofen was from WW 1. Same country, it counts.) She quickly decided to sign up for the academy - after all, now that she had powers, of course she had to learn to use them.

Her Wisp is a chibified version of one of the symbols on the Richthofen family crest, specifically the armory, wing-y one in the upper left corner. Its name is Moritz.

    Maya Hattori

Maya Hattori, possessed by Hanzou Hattori, played by desdendelle

Age: 17
Grade: 11th (Junior)
Years at School: 2
Roommate: Magda

Maya was just another normal girl. She was a pretty good dancer, but nothing more. Then a mask-like spirit decided it was for the best to bump into her head. At first, she vehemently rejected the dreams of shadows, darkness and death she began to have, as well as her floating companion. When some of the other Wisp-contacted girls disappeared, though, Maya began to research the name that always echoed in her head after her strange dreams. When the school contacted her parents, she relented and went to it, deciding that she ought to study her powers, at the very least. That was two years ago, and now she's pretty much used to the school, though her powers still feel a bit weird to her.

    Prita Maurya

Prita Maurya, possessed by Ashoka, played by Bokhura Burnes

Age: 17
Grade:
Years at School:
Roommate:

The ruthless (if driven) Indian-American queen bee of her high school, Prita originally saw her life leading to the Ivy League, law school, the corporate world, and marriage to a multi-millionaire, no matter who she needed to trample on to get there. When she first had her encounter with a wisp, the possibility of gaining powers (and power) opened up even more horizons...until she realized she had contacted the memories of Ashoka, the 1st century military commander whose revulsion at his conquests led him to embrace a life of Buddhism, peace, and ensuring the welfare of his neediest citizens. Why didn't she get a cool glamorous general like the other girls? Why does she keep having flashbacks of helping lepers, the poor, and other icky people? Why do her powers have to be so wimpy? And the less said about her magical girl costume, the better.

Tropes associated with Prita:

  • Alpha Bitch: Catty, manipulative, and disdainful of the others, although she may have been taken down a peg recently.
  • Bald Mystic: The powers she inherits come from a former military commander turned Buddhist monk and when she transforms she loses all of her hair, something she hates.
  • Evil Counterpart: The Dark Magical Girl Evergreen Forrest — there are hints that they are alike. Naturally, they hate each other.
  • Go-Getter Girl: Above all, she wants to succeed. Not only to elevate her own standing, but also because she feels a need to get the job done right.
  • Morality Pet: Her wisp, the Buddhist emperor Ashoka, at least every once in a while.

     Tammy Conner

Tammy Conner, possessed by Genghis Khan, played by Wryte

Age: 15
Grade: Sophomore
Years at School: First
Roommate:

Tammy was recruited to Atlantis shortly after the wisp, Khan, collided with her at a horse show. She has been attending Atlantis since the beginning of the school year, but is still having trouble adapting to life at sea, being originally from the small town of Duncan, Idaho, where her family owned the local stables and managed most of the county's equestrian events. She took a while to get accustomed to having Genghis Khan in her head, but their mutual love of horses made it easier to accept, and her already substantial riding ability skyrocketed after the event.

Her wisp is a small red horse named Khan.

    Victoria Iceni

Victoria Iceni, possessed by Boudica, played by Karrin

Victoria grew up in a very bland small New England town. She had a rather normal life as an introvert with an interest in mythology - especially Greco-Roman myth - and a talent for cooking. One day, while a school spirit day for the town's 'East Grove Centurions' thing was going on, she was struck in the head by a Wisp, who promptly had a variety of unkind things to say about said team mascot, among other things. Victoria then came to Atlantis, and while she's taking to combat fairly well her tactical skills are rather lacking.

    Winter Wallace

Winter Wallace, possessed by William Wallace, played by neobowman

Was an awkward teenage girl with 8th grade syndrome (Delusions of grandeur. Imagining themself to be have superpowers, imagining themselves as a fantasy hero or villain, etc, etc). As a result, she found it difficult to socialize with anyone she knew and has difficulty relating to others. Naturally, getting hit in the face was a dream come true. Unfortunately, the consciousness of a past-day hero wasn't exactly part of the deal she had imagined. William Wallace as it turns out is quite impulsive and overbearing, despite being a mere voice in her head. Is a new transfer student to the school.

    Katerina Zhukov

Katerina "Katyusha" Zhukov, possessed by Marshal Georgy Zhukov, played by Wysp

Age: 18
Grade: Senior
Years at School:
Roommate:

Born in St. Petersburg, Katerina was raised on her grandfather's stories of the Great Patriotic War and, ignorant of the destruction caused only a few years before with the collapse of the USSR, decided she would go into the military and become a famous national hero. She worked hard and studied and was finally accepted into the Georgy Zhukov Command Academy of the Air Defense Forces. However, later that same year she was assaulted by a baseball-sized T-34 in the middle of the mess hall. A few days later (after she'd had dreams of razing Berlin to the ground) it was determined that what had happened to her was similar to other cases around the globe, and the Russian military had her transferred to the newly-established multinational academy (of which Russia was one of the founding members, and they were quite pleased to finally have a student attending).

Her wisp is a miniature T-34.
