- Dysfunctional Family: comes from one, and can't stand when they bother her.
- Hated Hometown: she was raised in the projects of Boston, and says she never wants to go back.
- Tsundere: of the type A. She gives off a tough exterior, is not afraid to put her guard up if others are bothering her, but deep down, can be sweet and sensitive at times.
- Weight Woe: she previously struggled with an eating disorder, and worries about Trishelle when she begins to fall down the same path.

- A-Cup Angst: said she does not like her small breasts, and is jealous of Trishelle's larger ones.
- Double Standard: Abuse, Female on Male: Brynn throws a fork at Steven, and pushes him during an argument. Averted however, as he is visibly upset by it and greatly considered sending her home for it, but ultimately decides not to.
- Family-Friendly Stripper: not a stripper, but she becomes a go-go dancer during the show.
- Genki Girl: she loves to party, dance, and just have an overall good time.
- Girl on Girl Is Hot: made out with Trishelle, and thought it was arousing.
- Hard-Drinking Party Girl: she loves to party, but for the most part has it under control

- Dogged Nice Guy: he finds Trishelle attractive at first, but was not happy when she first got together with Steven.
- Satellite Character: has very little personality compared to the rest of his roommates. Did not have many interesting story lines throughout the series revolving around him, and was more defined by his interactions with others.
- Slut-Shaming: he slut-shames Trishelle after she hooks up with Steven for the first time.
- Small Town Boredom: from a small town in Pennsylvania, which is overrun by Amish
- You Need to Get Laid: had a difficult time getting laid in Las Vegas

- Love Triangle: between Alton, and her boyfriend back home. She can't decide which one she wants.
- Will They or Won't They?: with Alton throughout the whole season, she can't decide between whether to end up with him or her boyfriend back home.

- Fanservice with a Smile: he was a bartender before the show
- Girl on Girl Is Hot: admitted to being turned on when Trishelle and Brynn made out in front of him.
- Have I Mentioned I Am Heterosexual Today?: he works at a gay bar, and often gets Mistaken for Gay
- Official Couple: with Trishelle. Takes a little time in the beginning, but once they're together, they stick together.
- Relationship Revolving Door: with Trishelle. When they're together, they're all over each other. When they're not and try dating other people, they can't stop thinking about the other.
- Sickeningly Sweethearts: he and Trishelle like to show a lot of public displays of affection

- I Am Not Pretty: does not believe she's as beautiful as others tell her she is.
- Missing Mom: her mother died when she was 14.
- Naughty Nurse Outfit: During a party, she, Frank and Alton act out a sexy nurse skit on stage.
- Official Couple: with Steven. Takes a little time in the beginning, but once they're together, they stick together.
- Pregnancy Scare: she has one during the show after having unprotected sex with Steven multiple times.
