     Rebecca's Crusaders

Rebecca Swansin

Rebecca is the main character of The Kronicals, having moved to Forks because her uncle Charlie was disapproving of Bella and wanted someone else to raise. She fell in with the Cullens almost immediately, gaining a good reputation around the school while picking on her cousin, Bella. Rebecca makes her mark on the Fanfiction world by being quite possibly the least-likable character in all of fanfiction history. Before the events of the series even start up, she has been transphobic against Jasper, abusive towards Bella's truck, and domestically abusive against Bella herself. Her actions continue to pile up all throughout the first arc, culminating with her murdering her uncle, Charlie. The fact that she shows absolutely no signs of remorse certainly does not help her case. After realizing what an absolute bitch she is, she is now striving to try and be a better person, little by little. No word is out yet on how the fanbase is taking this, as many consider her to be an irredeemable monster at this point.

  • Aggressive Submissive: Seen in chapter 26, wherein she's sexually assaulted by Edward and does nothing to stop in, in an utterly out-of-character moment.
  • Attention Whore: At one point, she literally started to cry to get Edward's attention, just because she felt that she wasn't being noticed enough.
  • Ax-Crazy: A Popular interpretation of her character.
  • Captain Obvious: Probably a product of the writer, but some of the observations she makes simply cause face-palms.
  • Character Development: Seems to be turning from a psychotic murderer into someone who didn't realize they were evil and genuinely wants to genuinely do good.
  • Dark Action Girl: With her recent character development it looks like she's trying to move into normal Action Girl territory, but it's still to be seen if she can actually change.
  • Designated Hero: In spades.
  • Girl with Psycho Weapon: Originally all she had was her "Anti-rape Knife", but she eventually moved onto an Anti-rape Katana.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: To the point where she actually almost dies for once.
  • Informed Judaism: Possibly.
  • Lethally Stupid
  • Made of Iron: The girl can take several gunshots to the arm at close range without a sweat.
  • Yandere: When she came to the conclusion that Edward was going to try to break up with her due to an utterly faulty trail of logic, she proceeded to threaten Edward's life. She's done this about four or five times with him.

Edowerd Collin (Edward Cullen)

A 1822 year old vampire who is Rebecca's first love interest. Unable to not "get off" on blood whenever he comes too close to human blood. At first he seems to just tolerate Rebecca's antics, but by Story Arc II, he's well on board with Rebecca committing atrocities, and tells Bella that she's on her own. Eventually gets outcast by Rebecca for agreeing to have sex with her, only for her to reluctantly let him back into their friend circle when Jacob's mission requires it. Hasn't been seen since he beat the crap out of Rebecca in the bathroom, sending her to the hospital.

  • Always Someone Better: Seems to harbor jealousy over Rebecca choosing Jacob instead of him.
  • Celibate Hero: What Edward was before he came into Rebecca's corrupting influence.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Against Rebecca.
  • Mr. Fanservice: This and being Rebecca's love interest were his only defining qualities when the story first started. Eventually the role got passed onto Jacob, leaving Edward without much to go off of.
  • Old-School Chivalry: With an atrocious fake 16th century accent to boot.
  • Really 1822 Years Old
  • Telepathy: Averted in that his canon power has mysteriously vanished in this universe.
  • Wolverine Claws: Has the power to turn his fingernails into these.

Alicia Collin (Alice Cullen)

Canonically one of Edward's sibilings, this version of Alice is slightly more... Bipolar than the canon one. Whereas the canon Alice was a happy go-lucky, well-adapted girl, this version is a gun-toting drug-dealer who only does the job to make a living for whatever it is she spends money on.

  • Action Girl
  • Badass Adorable: She isn't the greatest fighter from what we've seen, but her presence in the bathroom was enough to make Angela run during the confrontation in Arc II.
  • Badass Driver: Always the one to drive the sports car. Participated in a high-speed chase against Angela in chapter 28.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: When Rebecca angered her enough, she shot a good deal of her class with a gun, and got carted off to jail because of it.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Is usually the one to show up and save the day along with Tanishashanqua when Rebecca and Edward screw things up.
  • Eerie Pale-Skinned Redhead: Alice's hair is originally described as being brown, but by the events of Arc II she's dyed it to be blood-red.
  • The Fashionista: Just like her canon self, Alice can make any outfit look stylish. She even found a way to make a Drug Dealing uniform match her earings.
  • Those Two Guys: With Tanishashanqua.

Tanishashanqua Chocolove

The second major Original Character to grace the story, at the beginning, Tanishashanqua's only quality was being a stereotype. She has since evolved out of it, but it took a while. She quickly found herself accepted by the fanbase, which identified her as a decent person who was a source of comedic gold. Fanon has it that Tanishashanqua only hangs around Rebecca to make sure that she doesn't harass Bella.

  • Action Girl
  • Bad Ass Normal: Manages to keep up with the constant battles that the group endures, despite neither having superpowers nor being the main character.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Is usually the one to show up and save the day along with Alice when Rebecca and Edward screw things up.
  • Ghetto Name: Tanisha-frickin'-shanqua. It doesn't get much worse than that.
  • Those Two Guys: With Alice.

Jacub Blake (Jacob Black)

Up until the events of Arc II, Jacob had only been an acquaintance of Rebecca's, due to her staying away from him because of him being a "furry". Once Rebecca breaks up with Edward, Jacob usurps his place as Rebecca's boyfriend. He is the one responsible for Rebecca's recent [1], and responsible for a good chunk of the fanservice that the fic has to offer. Hasn't been seen for a bit in Arc III, presumably went after Edward after he beat the crap out of Rebecca in the bathroom, sending her to the hospital.

     Humans

Bella Swan

  • Break the Cutie: Bella Swan. Raped, mistreated by her cousin, her best human friend in canon turned into a vampire, who then killed all her other friends (except, oddly enough, for Mike), shot, and gets her truck vandalized repeatedly by Rebecca, who then brutally murders her father and forces her to live in a shed, where she's forced into prostitution in the sequel.
  • The Resenter: Evident based on conversations she's had with Rebecca.

Mike Newton

The only one of Bella's friends to survive Vampire!Angela's onslaught... Until he was killed in chapter 3 by a rampaging Alicia. He came back later in Arc II after having an emergency brain transfusion, but was then killed again when riot police began to invade the school.

Charlie Swan

  • Archnemesis Dad: For Bella, as her dialogue about her would indicate.
  • Police Are Useless: Justified in that there really wasn't any practical way to respond to Rebecca's threat of death to him.

Mr. Chocolove

Originally appearing to just be an awesome teacher at Forks Highschool,

  • Badass Normal
  • Badass Teacher
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: It's wasn't but a few lines into his debut chapter that fans latched onto him and made him into a memetic badass. Half of Tanishahsnqua's popularity comes from just being his daughter.

Prinsipul

The Ex-Principal of Forks Highschool. After fighting Rebecca, Jacob, and Edward at the same time in the Arc II finale, Rebecca kills him.

Anya the Bold

The personified form of Rova's current editor. Rova utilizes her as a punching bag for whenever the real Anya doesn't get back to Rova quick enough.

     Vampires

Carlisle Cullen

A Vampire turned Preacher who is described as being even older than Edward and Alice combined, yet being a hottie. Teaches Religion class at Forks Highschool once Esme becomes the new Principal.

Esme Cullen

The Big Bad of the story. Described as a "Mega fuocking bitch" by Rebecca, she lived up to her reputation by the time we saw her. Took over the position of Principal of Forks Highschool and then hired members of the Volturi to come and teach at the school. Is planning something or other with Mr. Chocolove.

Jasper / Jasmine Cullen

Rosalie Cullen

The only other person capable of taking on Angela or Esme that Rebecca and Co. Know of, Rosalie is an master at gunplay, having been an FBI assassin for the past couple of years. Her gunplay is unmatched, having defeated almost all of the invading riot police by herself during Arc II.

Emmet Cullen

Angela

Now a Vampire, the specifics of how she was changed are unclear, but we do know that she has it out for Bella and her friends, having killed all of them but Bella and Mike by the start of the series. She only appears once in Arc I, in which she scares Rebecca and leaves. By the time Arc II rolls around, she becomes a more active villain, trying to kill Bell and Rebecca in bathrooms on multiple occasions. Her most recent attempt almost was a success, having been about to kill Rebecca and Bella until Chocolove's intervention.

Revealed by Chocolove to be his daughter with Renee, Bella's mother. This makes Angela Bella's half-sister and Rebecca's... something.

Goes by the fanname of Rain Bennet in fanon due to an influential fic that made its way through the snarking community.

  • Conflict Killer: In her third appearance, she forces Bella to work beside Rebecca in order to defeat her.
  • Dark Action Girl: Esme aside, Angela among the strongest character in the series, easily qualifying as a badass. The combined forces of Rebecca, Bella, Tanishashanqua, and Alice weren't enough to take her down while she was extremely disadvantaged in a fight.
  • Evil Former Friend: For Bella.
  • Fashion-Victim Villain: If her description in her second appearance is anything to go by.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Seriously, can anything stop this woman once she's on the warpath? I didn't think so.
  • Immortal Assassin: According to Leah, she was this for Esme until she rebelled.
  • Mysterious Past: How she actually became a vampire hasn't been revealed to the readers. Yet.
  • The Dragon: Was this for Esme until she eventually quit and went solo.
  • Villains Out Shopping: Did this in the Christmas Special.
