The Interregnum Saga. Some characters are limited to one volume, whilst others continue to participate in two or even all three.
Interregnum's Dawn
The House of Seabahc: One of the premier houses of the land, its lineage running through the first cousin of King Caetigern VII.
- Finella, Marcis of the House of Seabahc: Finella is the young daughter of the former Marc of Seabahc, Lord Ardghal, who in turn was the King's eldest cousion. Her imminent ascension to the Riocht Throne causes a crisis in the kingdom. She is initially unwilling to take the throne and its responsibilities, but a battle for survival, combined with urging from her council, eventually pushes her to make a stronger move.
- Lord Tighearnan: Eril of Avonbruach, the seat of power of the house of Seabahc. He is Finella's uncle and chief military adviser, being a veteran of the fourth Elfin Wars.
